Chapter 13: Back to Kanto

Ash and Serena made their way to the Champion area, which also applies to Elite 4, and Gym Leaders. Of course, they were recognized by the other passengers, but they went by too fast. When they reached the Champion area...they were shocked. The Champion area had many rooms, all with a bedroom, including a TV, personal bathroom, and a small dining room. Ash and Serena went in theirs, and lied down on their bed to watch TV.

Their flight was 12 hours long, so they needed this room a lot. 10 minutes later, a personal waitress for Ash and Serena showed up, giving them a menu. Ash ordered a T-Bone steak, which he shared with Serena. He also ordered 10 ketchup packets for a certain electric mouse who was sleeping.

Some minutes later, their steak arrived. Ash and Serena finished eating later, and went to sleep for about 8 hours. They cuddled through the day, and woke up later with 4 hours left.

"Huh, only four hours left. Guess we really slept through it." said Ash. "*yawns* Yeah..." said Serena. It was 9:00 p.m., and they would be arriving around 1:00 a.m. Serena took out her PC and watched Pokétube, while Ash took out a Nintendo Switch and played Pokémon Unite, as Pikachu of course.

After 4 hours, the plane finally arrived, and the two went down. They got out of the airport and got to a hotel in Celadon City, since it was late and didn't want to disturb Delia. They took out all their Pokemon, and went to sleep again....

~Meanwhile--------------------------------------------------------

"So, umm...you guys wanna play some chess?" said Pikachu. "Uhh, sure I guess." said Sylveon.

After what seemed to be 7 hours and 100 matches of chess, Serena and Ash woke up.

"Good morning...again, Serena. My mom SHOULD be awake by now, I told her I was coming...and she should be making breakfast right now." said Ash. "Oh, that's nice...*yawns* we should be going, then." "Yeah...wait, what about the Pokemon?" Ash walked to the living room and saw them playing chess.

"Uhh...?" said Ash. All the Pokemon were sleeping, with Delphox and Greninja sleeping on the table where they played chess. Pikachu was sleeping with Sylveon's feelers wrapped around it, and all the other Pokemon were sleeping normally.

"Guys, wake up! We're going to Pallet Town!" said Ash. All the Pokemon woke up, with Delphox, Greninja, Pikachu, and Sylveon blushing as they realized they were sleeping together.

"Looks like we've got two new couples, huh?" said Serena. "Yeah..." said Ash. They went out of the hotel through the elevator, paid, and walked back to Pallet Town. "Hey, Ash. I've noticed you've been a bit quieter since you woke up. What happened?" asked Serena. "Oh, I've just been thinking about something." "About what?"

"Well, I just don't know...if my mom will like you. Sure, she may have acted happy when she saw a dress in my bag and asked if I had a girlfriend...but does she remember you, and is she ok with us?" said Ash.

"Don't worry, Ash. I'm sure she'll be ok." said Serena. "Wait, why are we walking?" said Ash. He opened his Pokémon HOME box and took Dragonite out. Dragonite immediately hugged Serena, as she was a new person she had never seen before. "I-I...can't b-breathe..." said Serena. Dragonite stopped the hug as she looked to Ash, confused to who the person was. "Oh, Dragonite. This is my girlfriend, Serena." Ash said.

Dragonite was confused; she didn't know what a girlfriend was. "I guess you don't understand. Well...uh..." He looked towards Serena, thinking about how to show it. "What are you-" He ran up to Serena, winked at her, and kissed her on the lips. Serena was shocked at Ash's idea, but quickly accepted the kiss.

Dragonite's confusion turned to surprise, and then happiness. She understood Ash's message very clearly, and hugged them both after they finished their kiss. Serena was blushing all over her face with swirls in her eyes. "So, Dragonite. We need to get to Pallet Town!" Dragonite nodded, and Ash and Serena got on her. They flew to Pallet Town, and went off of Dragonite. "Thanks, Dragonite." Ash put Dragonite back in the Pokeball, and put it back in HOME. (by the way, the pokemon in HOME are all of Ash's pokemon in the lab)

Dragonite, back at the lab, told everyone about it, while Ash and Serena, hand in hand, walked to Ash's humble home. "Hey, Mom! I'm here!" yelled Ash. Delia opened the door. "Good morning, Ash! I have breakfast ready for you since you told me you were coming." Delia said, with a hint of confusion in her face. "Ash, is there someone behind you?" she asked. "O-Oh, yeah. Um..." he moved to the left, revealing Serena, who was slightly embarrassed. "H-Hello, M-Mrs. Delia..." said Serena.

"Wait, I recognize her. Is she..." thought Delia. "Are you Serena? The Kalos Queen? I've seen a lot of your showcases, and-" Delia stuttered. "Wait, you're the girl Ash helped back at the summer camp...you're the same Serena?"

"Yeah..." said Serena. "Um, m-mom. Well, you know this already, but...she's Serena. Uh...she's also m-my girlfriend." said Ash. "Looks like me and Grace were right. I knew these two would be together one day!" thought Delia. "Well, Ash. Looks like you've found yourself a nice girlfriend. Come in!"

Pallet Town was similar to Vaniville Town, so she felt right at home, since Ash's house felt quite similar to hers. They both enjoyed their breakfast. "You know, Ash. I actually was friends with Grace when you two met. And...we kind of said you would be together one day. Looks like we were right." said Delia. The two were blushing. They finished their breakfast, and they went up to Ash's room.

Ash's room had all his gym badge collection, his Orange Islands trophy, the Alola trophy, and the Monarch trophy. But there was something that caught Serena's eye. "Ash...you still have the handkerchief?" asked Serena. Ash smiled. "Yeah. It's one of my greatest achievements." said Ash. Serena realized what he meant and was slightly embarrassed. Serena liked his room, and she quickly settled in.

She organized all of Ash's things, and laid down on the bed. "This is pretty comfy, y'know?" said Serena. "Of course it is. It is my room." said Ash. Serena took out her phone, until Ash got a notification from a certain catching connoisseur. "Hey, Ash! You're back from Kalos, right? Could you visit?" he asked. "Sure, Goh. I'll be there soon." said Ash. "Hey, Serena. Do you wanna go to Cerise Lab?" asked Ash. "Cerise Lab? Isn't that where Chloe's dad works?" asked Serena. "Yep! Goh asked if I could go." said Ash. "Huh. Sure, I'll go." The two got up, and said goodbye to Delia.

"Bye, mom!"
"Bye, Mrs, Delia!"

"Oh, Serena. You don't have to call me that. Just call me Delia."

"O-Ok. Bye, Delia!"

The two headed on their merry way to Cerise Lab, and continued to write the next chapter in their story.
