Note: I have changed most of their names to more appropriate normal names, but I will put their  official names and original names at the end. Thank you!

Charlie's POV:

I was twiddling my thumbs and pacing back and forth.

"When is dad coming back?" I asked nervously.

"Yeah, I need to feed William and dad knows where the mice are." Irwin exclaimed.

I groaned with anxiety. 'Great, dad's gone and I'm stuck with a hungry snake.' I thought to myself.

"Relax, dad wouldn't be gone this long unless it was for a good reason." (What's with all the good reasons with this book??)

"Yeah, like aliens!" Damien remarked. I groaned with even more anxiety.

"No, it's not aliens!" Alan said.

"It's something better!" Lloyd replied.

Alan, Miriam, and Petra quickly shushed him (Lloyd, Alan, Miriam, Petra, and a couple others I don't remember were all there at the mall when they met their grandpa). "Sorry." he apologized shyly. Just then, there was a clicking noise coming from he door.

"I'm home!" Dad said coming inside.

"Daddy!" I said running to him. Relief washed over me while I hugged him.

"Hi Charlie, did you miss me that much?" Dad asked.

"Uh huh." I said with my face against his chest.

"Dad, I need help feeding William Snakespeare." Irwin whined.

"On it." Dad said. Then he went into the kitchen with me holding his hand. While in the kitchen, Huck popped out of one of the lower cabinets.

"BOO!" Huck shouted.

"Aah! You scared me." Dad said fakingly (That's not a word old me).

"Where have you been dad? I may be a small 4 year old, but I was starting to get cramps." Huck exclaimed (Wow. He's very well spoken for a four year old).

"Well, I was gonna wait to tell you in the morning, but I guess that has already been spoiled. Six of your siblings already know. We were grocery shopping until I bumped into your grandpa." Dad explained. Huck, Irwin, and I gasped. "The reason I stayed up so late was that I was talking to your grandpa and uncles. They are coming over for dinner tomorrow." (What aboot your mom? Is she dead or something Aaron??) Dad said.

"Well I better get my soccer medals ready," Huck said stumbling out of the cabinet. "Hey Irwin? Is it alright if I play on your Leapfrog Gameboy?" (The OP of all gameboys out there -in my opinion-) Huck asked.

"As your older brother, I say no." Irwin said.

"You're only older by two minutes!" He whined.

"If you guys are whining about who's the youngest and smartest, I'm younger by five minutes." Taylor said. Dad and I were holding in our laughter as the triplets continued to bicker.

"Well I think it's about time to go to bed." Dad said.

"I couldn't have agreed more." I exclaimed.

(They fed William Snakespeare don't worry-)

................................................................

It was the next day and dad had just told everyone who was coming for dinner. Al, Oscar, and I were setting the table for tonight. I could see little Fae and Pearl jumping up and down in front of the door (Precious little babies 🥺).
