"OPpa~" Jimin teased, a playful smile spreading across his face as he drove away from your house, the evening air filled with a lightness that only their friendship could bring.

Jungkook shot him a glare, his grip tightening on the steering wheel. "Hyung!" he snapped, trying to mask the flutter of embarrassment creeping up his neck.

Jimin chuckled, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "You didn’t tell us that you met her before," he said, leaning back in his seat, clearly enjoying the moment.

Jungkook focused intently on the road, his heart racing for reasons he couldn’t quite explain. He sped up, the engine roaring in protest. "C'mon, baby~" Jimin teased again, his voice dripping with playful sarcasm.

Jungkook let out an annoyed chuckle, but it was clear he was trying to suppress a smile. "Why are you asking such a useless question!" he retorted, though his tone lacked the usual bite.

Jimin laughed, the sound bright and infectious. "Well, if you don’t wanna tell, that’s fine. I’ll just ask Y/N; she will definitely tell me." The thought of Y/N made Jungkook's heart skip a beat, and he quickly shook his head, trying to dismiss the feeling.

"It’s nothing, really. We just talked and parted ways. Until we met here," he replied, his voice softer now, a hint of longing in his tone as he recalled the brief encounter.

Suddenly, Jungkook’s phone rang, the shrill tone cutting through the lighthearted atmosphere. He quickly put on his Bluetooth, his heart racing for a different reason now. "Hello," he answered, his voice steady but his expression shifting rapidly from calm to hurt, then to anger.

Jimin’s playful demeanor faded instantly, replaced by concern as he watched Jungkook’s face contort with emotion. "Bun, are you okay? Who was it?" he asked, his brow furrowing in worry.

Jungkook hung up the call, his breathing ragged, the weight of whatever news he received pressing heavily on his chest. "It was useless, Hyung. Nothing to worry about," he said, though the tremor in his voice betrayed him.

"But—" Jimin started, wanting to push for more, to understand what was happening behind Jungkook's guarded facade.

"Please," Jungkook murmured, his voice barely above a whisper as he focused intently on the road, trying to drown out the storm of emotions swirling inside him.

The car fell into a thick silence, the air heavy with unspoken words. Jungkook stopped the car in front of Jimin’s house, his gaze fixed straight ahead, avoiding Jimin’s concerned eyes. Inside, he felt a tumult of frustration and sadness, battling against the vulnerability he hated to show. Jimin, sensing the shift, remained quiet, knowing that sometimes, silence spoke louder than words.

Jimin sighed, concern etched on his face. "Jungkook, if anything's bothering you, please tell me, okay? I'm always here to listen, our bunny! Right?" His voice was gentle, filled with the warmth of friendship.

Jungkook managed a small smile, the corners of his lips lifting slightly. "I know, Hyung, and I'm sorry for my behavior!" His voice was softer, the weight of his earlier frustration beginning to lift just a little.

Jimin reached over, caressing Jungkook's hair affectionately before stepping out of the car. "Safe drive! Don't rush, okay? Call me when you reach!" Jungkook nodded, starting the car and heading towards home, the familiar streets offering a bittersweet comfort.

Once he parked in the garage and walked towards the door, he leaned against it, closing his eyes for a moment. But the moment of peace was fleeting as the voices from his earlier phone call echoed in his mind. "WHY!" he shouted silently, gripping his hair in frustration as he took long strides toward his room.
