Jungkook sat in the backseat of the car, feeling restless and bored. He fidgeted with the edge of his phone, the silence in the car only making the boredom more pronounced. He glanced at the building through the car windows, where you had gone into to meet the suppliers.
He let out a sigh, running a hand through his hair. The thought of waiting in the car for who knows how long was almost torturous for him. He was used to being on the move, doing something, not just sitting around.
He considered getting out of the car and taking a walk around the area, but the thought of being recognized made him hesitate. The tinted windows would help keep his identity concealed, but the risk was still there.
He leaned back in the seat, drumming his fingers on the armrest and letting out another sigh. He had never been patient, and this situation was testing what little patience he had even further.
Jungkook was just about to start a game on his phone when something outside caught his eye. He saw you coming out of the building, a smile on your face and your arms wrapped around a man's shoulders, hugging him. The sight made Jungkook's jaw tighten, his eyes darkening.
He watched from the car, his hands clenching into fists, as the scene played out outside. Who was that guy, and why was he so close to you? The sudden pang of jealousy was both unexpected and strong.
He leaned forward, his gaze locked on the scene outside. He watched as the man's arms encircled your waist, pulling you closer. The sight was making his blood boil, the jealousy and possessiveness building up inside him like a storm.
He gritted his teeth, the sight of another man touching you like that making him want to throw open the car door and march over there.
"Hyuk, it's so wonderful to see you here!" You beamed, your eyes sparkling with warmth. "We'll meet soon, I promise. And please, be extra careful with those supplies, okay?" Your voice took on a gentle, concerned tone.
As you wrapped your arms around him in a tight hug,
"Bye bye, Hyuk!" You whispered, releasing him, smiling up at his bright, reassuring smile. The man nodded, his hands still lingering on your waist for a moment longer than necessary. You pulled away, a smile still on your face, before turning to leave. The man called out after you, his voice loud enough that Jungkook could hear it inside the car.
"Bye! Take care!"
He watched as you finally turned away, your steps carrying you back to the car. Jungkook was bristling with suppressed anger, the possessiveness and jealousy he felt almost overpoweringly strong.
As you slid back into the car, the soft creak of the leather seats enveloped you. You turned to Jungkook, your eyes locking onto his, filled with apology.
"Sorry, Gugki, I made you wait for so long!" Your voice was laced with regret, your brow furrowing slightly.
Jungkook was sitting rigidly in the backseat, his gaze fixed out the window, his jaw clenched tightly.
He didn't look at you, his whole body vibrating with the suppressed anger and jealousy that coursed through him. When you apologized for making him wait, his only response was a terse nod, his eyes still avoiding yours.
You gazed at him, your eyes lingering on his features, filled with concern. "Let's get you something to eat," you suggested, your voice softening. "I've kept you waiting for far too long. I'm so sorry." You smiled apologitically before starting the car.
Jungkook's gaze finally flicked to you, his eyes narrowing slightly as he saw you smile apologetically. A part of him wanted to stay mad at you, but the mention of food was like a switch in his brain.
