You sighed frustrated, grabbing the sketch file from the table, and cursing her assistant "uh- why the hell you didn't told me that I have a meeting with suppliers, you know how important this is, there concert is on the way, and you had just told me that suppliers want to meet me, tell me the place am going right away!"

Bora gulped, she looked at you with wide eyes, knowing that she had messed up by not telling you about the meeting on time.

"I-I'm so sorry Y/N-nim," she stuttered out. "I thought you knew about the meeting, I never meant to withhold information from you."

You glared her making her more scared that she already was, "Just tell me where meeting is placed!."

Bora paled at your stern tone and quickly fumbled through her documents, searching for the location of the meeting. She knew that you were upset, and she wanted to salvage the situation as quickly as possible.

"Y-yes, the meeting is at the BigHit Entertainment meeting room on the third floor," she said quickly. "It starts in ten minutes."

You cursed under your breath, realizing that you had very little time to prepare for the meeting. You turned to Bora, your eyes blazing with anger.

"You better hope I can salvage this disaster," you snapped. "I can't believe you didn't tell me about this meeting until the last minute."

Bora winced at your sharp tone, knowing that she had messed up big time. She opened her mouth to apologize again, but you cut her off with a glare.

"I don't have time for apologies now," you said, grabbing the documents from her hands. "Just help me gather everything I need for this meeting."

You took a deep breath, trying to steady your nerves as you checked over the materials. You knew that you had to make a good impression at this meeting, especially with the concert coming up. You grabbed your files and turned to Bora.

"Let's go."

You were walking quickly, your mind racing as you checked the important documents in your hands. Suddenly, you yelped as the papers flew out of your grasp, scattering like leaves caught in a whirlwind. Panic surged through you, and you instinctively closed your eyes, bracing for the inevitable fall.

Bora watched in horror, her eyes wide as she saw the chaos unfold. She moved to help you, but before she could reach you, strong arms wrapped around your waist, halting your descent. You felt the warmth of a solid chest against your back, and a familiar scent—something comforting and grounding—filled your nostrils. You opened your eyes to see Jungkook's face just inches from yours, his expression a mix of concern and determination.

He had been passing by, and without a second thought, he rushed over, catching you just in time. "Careful," he said, his voice steady and calm, cutting through the whirlwind of your thoughts. "Are you alright?"

You took a shaky breath, your heart still racing from the unexpected scare. "Y-yeah, am—am fine, thank you," you managed to reply, your voice barely above a whisper as you looked up at him. His eyes held a depth of worry that made your heart flutter, and for a moment, the chaos around you faded away.

He held you tightly for a heartbeat longer, ensuring you were steady on your feet before gently releasing you. The warmth of his grip lingered, sending a rush of emotions through you—relief, gratitude, and something deeper that you couldn't quite place. Jungkook's heart was still racing from the sudden scare, but he tried to keep his expression calm, masking the concern that had briefly taken over him. You could feel the connection between you, a silent understanding that lingered in the air as you both took a moment to catch your breath amidst the scattered papers.
