After three hours of intense practice, the members were sprawled out, each taking a moment to relax and recharge. The maknae line was nestled together, their camaraderie evident in the way they leaned on each other. Yoongi had claimed the couch, sleeping soundly against the wall, while Namjoon scrolled through his phone, occasionally chuckling at something he found. Jin was sharing a light moment with Hobi, both of them bursting into laughter over some classic dad jokes.

Jungkook, however, sat upright, a deep sigh escaping his lips. He had sighed at least ten times in the last half hour, a clear sign that something was bothering him. Jimin and Taehyung exchanged glances, concern etched on their faces as they observed their friend.

Taehyung, ever the comforting presence, reached over to caress Jungkook's hair gently. "Ok, now spill what's the matter?" he prompted, his voice soft yet insistent. Jimin looked up from his spot, his curiosity piqued.

Jungkook opened his eyes, confusion clouding his features. "What are you asking about, Tae?" he replied, slightly taken aback.

Taehyung shook his head, determination in his gaze. "I've been watching you since you came back from New York! One moment you're smiling, and the next, your temper is like you're gonna kill someone—"

"Oh my god, Tae!" Jimin gasped, his eyes widening in exaggerated shock. Taehyung looked at him, puzzled by his sudden outburst. "What's the matter, Chim?"

"Is he pregnant?" Jimin blurted out, covering his mouth with his palm as if he had just revealed a scandalous secret.

Taehyung and Jungkook stared at him in disbelief for a moment, processing the absurdity of the statement. Then, Taehyung blinked, and suddenly, he was on the floor, laughing uncontrollably, clutching his stomach as if he couldn't breathe. "Oh—my—God!!" he wheezed between fits of laughter.

Jimin grinned, clearly enjoying the chaos he had sparked, while Jungkook rolled his eyes, a mix of exasperation and amusement on his face. "You guys are ridiculous," he muttered, but a small smile tugged at the corners of his lips, the weight on his chest feeling a little lighter amidst the laughter of his friends.

Taehyung wiped away the tear that had escaped while he was laughing so hard. He looked at Jungkook, his expression shifting from amusement to concern. "Ok, shut up! I'm serious, Kook! What's the actual matter? I know you better than you know yourself!" His voice was firm, but there was a softness that showed he truly cared.

Jungkook sighed, the weight of his thoughts evident in his posture. "There's nothing to tell, Hyung!" He tried to brush it off, pulling his phone from his pocket and scrolling aimlessly, hoping the distraction would ease the turmoil inside him.

"Jungkook!" Taehyung called his name again, this time with a hint of urgency in his tone.

"What! Tae, what do you want to hear!" Jungkook snapped, annoyance creeping into his voice as he felt cornered.

"Shut up, Coconut head! Tae is right! Now tell us what you're so stressed about," Jimin chimed in, his whisper-yell cutting through the tension like a knife.

Jungkook took a deep breath, a mix of frustration and vulnerability swirling within him. "You wanna listen? Ok then, I have a question. Can you give me an answer?" His voice deepened, the seriousness of his tone catching both Taehyung and Jimin off guard.

"If we have an answer to your question, we will surely give you one, Kook!" Taehyung replied, a small smile trying to break through the heaviness of the moment.

Jungkook turned his gaze out of the window, watching the raindrops race down the glass, each one a reminder of the thoughts he couldn't escape. "They say water has memories," he began, his voice barely above a whisper. He paused, feeling the weight of his own words, before continuing, "and I'd like to think that's why when we touch raindrops, we feel a deep sense of nostalgia for events we have never personally experienced."
