The first week flew by quicker than I had though it would have. It's currently Tuesday so, a quick recap of my week is the following...
Saturday - Finished moving into my dorm, went to the Ravenclaw party and drank too much.
Sunday - Woke up super hungover with a sticky note stuck on some medicine on my side table. The sticky note read out: Helped you back to your dorm last night, though you could use these. P.s Eva took of your make up and shoes, not me - Ced
Monday - Went to my first classes, which were Care of Magical Creatures, Charms, Transfigurations and Herbology.
Tuesday - Went to more classes yada yada.
Wednesday - Theo and I skipped classes to celebrate Mum's birthday, and by celebrate, I mean cry and eat cake.
Thursday - Had my first ever DADA class (I didn't take the subject at Beauxbatons), understood none of it, and got help form Cedric later in the day.
Friday - Spent the day doing broomstick tryouts for the Quidditch team.
Saturday - Went to Hogsmead with Eva and a girl named Hannah Abbot, she's in my year and Eva's roommate. I think we'll end up being pretty good friends.
Sunday - Found out I made the Quidditch team!
Monday - Had my first Astronomy class here, which I LOVED, so much better than at Beauxbatons.
Currently I'm on my way to the Slytherin common room during my last period, which is a study. Theo, Draco and Pansy happen to have a study at the same time, so we agreed to meet up. I'm planning on meeting Cedric in the library later on so he can help me more with DADA, and I'm really excited, honestly I hate to admit it but I think I might be crushing a little.
Pansy lets me into their common room and leads me over to the couch which I've learnt is there normal meet up spot. Pansy, unlike Astoria, actually seems to enjoy my company despite me being a Hufflepuff. That or she puts up with me for Theo's sake. We all chat and laugh for a while before Pansy brings up the Triwizard Tournament which is coming up pretty soon. Cedric was telling me about how he's putting his name in along with some of his friends, and to be honest I'm really nervous for him. He said that the names are being pulled next week, and the entries have to be in by this Friday.
'I'm putting my name in', Theo's voice pulls me from my worries about Cedric, only to overpower it by a new one.
'What!', I look at him, mad as ever, 'You can't!'
'Who's stopping me?'
'You're not allowed, you're too young you have to be 16, you're only 14!', I start to raise my voice to hide the tremble I can feel coming in.
'I'm 15 before the first trial starts, I can sneak my name in and they won't notice', I forgot, our birthday is so soon, but that doesn't matter right now.
'Uh, yeah they will!'
'The rest of the boys were gonna do it with me'
I look over to Draco who's looking too proud of himself. 'You're 14 too Draco, you won't even be 15 by the time it starts.'
'So?', he huffs, still maintaining his awful smirk.
'I thought you guys were smarter than this', I stand up and start pacing. Pansy follows me and get me to sit down on a table near by.
I hear students starting to enter the common room, last period must be over. Everyone's chattering away and Pansy's still being a nice person and helping me to calm down, saying that the boys won't actually do it. I hear Enzo and Blais's voices enter behind me and start talking away to Theo and Draco. I overhear Enzo asking what's wrong with me and why Pansy and I aren't sitting with them. Theo says I'm being overdramatic about them entering in the Triwizard, and I can't help but think how pathetic they all are.
As soon as they all seem to settle down into a steady conversation I hear an unfamilar voice start talking out of breath.
