MATTHEO
I barge into the common room hoping to find my friends in our usual spot, 'You'll never fucking guess what happened today', I say.
'No hello? How were your holidays?', Blaise says, not matching my ecstatic tone one bit.
'Hi, hello, how were your holidays?', I say, but don't wait for a reply and continue to talk, 'Guess what bloodly fucked up my day'
'You spent your whole first day back in detention and didn't get to see your friends until now?', ugh Draco now is not the time for this bullshit.
'No', I roll my eyes and take a seat in between Theo and Draco on the couch. 'I saw this new girl, pretty sure she's in our year.' The boys take glances at each other so I assume they know who I'm talking about, I mean how could they not. 'The HOTTEST girl I've ever laid my eyes on and she's a damn Hufflepuff! They never want to sleep around, they only ever want to date so I won't even be able to hook up with her!'
Theo looks like he's about to kill me when he says, 'And what's this girl look like again?'
'She's a blondie and tan, athletic, has the longest most sexy legs I've ever laid my eyes on. Oh and-'
Theo puts me in a head lock and finishes my sentence for me, except when he fills in my blank, it's not same thing I was planning, '-and my twin sister! You dickhead.'
Theo lets me go and I swear I'm hallucinating from lack of air to my brain when I see the hot Hufflepuff girl, or apparently Theo's sister, staring right at me next to no other than Pansy Parkinson. 'Oh great', I let out a breath of air. 'Uh, hey, I'm Mattheo', I say, trying to not look stupid while rubbing my neck and blinking my eyes to get them to work properly again.
'Hey, I'm Theo's sister', she smiles, and oh it's a sweet one.
'And your name is?', I ask hoping I won't push Theo's buttons by doing so.
'Sexy legs?', Ugh great, she obviously heard everything I had to say about her.
'Yeah, sorry about that', I grimace at her, holding back a laugh.
'It's cool. Nothing I didn't already know', she smiles again and looks towards Theo, 'Listen we'll talk properly about the Triwizard later, please don't put your name in yet. I've gotta bounce though, I'm meeting someone in the library.'
'Care to share who you meeting?', Theo honestly looks more cross with his pretty blondie sister than how he was with me seconds ago when I was swooning over her.
'Nun ya', she smirks and begins to walk off.
'How's she not in Slytherin?', Blaise asks once she's out of sight.
'Did you not just see her bawling her eyes out seconds ago when I said I was putting my name in the Goblet of Fire? I think it's pretty obvious how she's not', Theo looks over to Blaise and I'm not sure if he still looks cross or is about to laugh.
'You're entering in the Triwizard?', I look at him, the first time I've heard this news.
'Yeah, why?'
'Without me?', we all begin to laugh.
BLAISE
Well that was eventful an eventful afternoon. I had my Arithmancy class with Enzo, which ended with this two boys from Gryffindor having an idiotic fight and storming out with that Granger girl running behind them yelling 'stop fighting guys, this isn't like you!', YUCK. I'm not sure what they were thinking when befriending her in year one. Anyways that's besides the point. I failed my end of year Arthmancy exam last year, and have to do a supplementary exam at the end of this week if I want to continue with the class; which I honestly don't, but my Ma would kill me if I dropped it. And listen, as much as I hate sitting in that fucked up class, I actually need to learn how to do shit before this exam, and having the 'golden trio', or whatever stupid fucking name they call themselves, storm out doesn't exactly keep the lesson going smoothly.
After learning nothing in class Enz and I head back to the common room. Some of the other had a study last so they should already be there. We chatted about class on our way there, and about Mattheo coming back, which we're all excited for. None of us have seen him because before he even made it to breakfast he decided it was a good idea to mess with this year one Gryffindor boy and got sent straight to Dumble-dick's office for the whole damn day. I know Mattheo's not always the best example of a considerate person, but for the most part, he'll usually say hello before cracking the shits.
But when something on his mind so much, he'll skip the niceties and start spilling he's thoughts before he even has time to process what he's saying. Obviously he'd caught sight of this girl in the hallways before he got himself into trouble and was banished to detention. Little did he know the girl that'd clearly been on his mind all day was Theo's sister. Mattheo knew about Y/N moving here this year, but probably had just assumed she was going to be in Slytherin. So when, he saw a super hot Hufflepuff, who looks nothing like Theo, it wouldn't have crossed his mind once about the possibility of them being related. When I started exchanging look with Theo I could see his face get more fed up with every describing word that Matt listed. And honestly I could help but see it coming when Theo put him in a headlock.
Mattheo's not wrong though, Y/N is one smokin' hot girl. My type for sure, expect I don't think I could deal with all her personality. She's cool enough, love her wits, but when the Hufflepuff side of her comes out, it REALLY comes out. Anyways, I don't blame her being upset about us, or more so Theo, for wanting to put his name in the Goblet of Fire. But she's also gotta see our side of it too. We're guys, and we wanna prove ourself and have fun while doing so. Yeah, we're young and it breaks the rules, but we break they rules every other day so I don't see why this is much different.
When Y/N finally left after Mattheo's vocal letter of love, she said she was headed to study with someone. And by the smile she gave Theo, I could make a pretty educated guess and say that this "someone" is a boy and by the rumours going around I wouldn't sound crazy thinking that she's going to met up with Cedric - the dick - Diggory.
