It was almost nighttime that Friday, and I had barely turned on my phone's internet when I started getting flooded with notifications from my closest group of friends. "We have to go to Pollux's party," wrote Maggie, my best friend. "He knows how to throw a proper party!" "But we still have two exams this month," retorted our good friend Henry, to whom I owe many coffees for all the times he let me copy assignments I forgot to do and notes I forgot to take. "I'm in!" I wrote back without a second thought. "Me too!" replied the other member of our group, Matt, Maggie's twin brother, which surprised all of us since he's not much of a party person.
Long story short, we managed to convince Henry, our only good influence, to spend some time at Pollux's party. When we arrived at the meeting place, a half-lost and abandoned warehouse in the woods, Pollux immediately came to greet us with his usual fun and mischievous demeanor."Guys! I'm so glad you could make it! I was getting worried... I thought you might have preferred to stay in and study instead of coming to have fun with the rest of the crew.""We could never miss a party thrown by the great Pollux! Yours are the best! By the way, where's your sister?" Matt asked.Oh! I almost forgot! Pollux has a sister, Eliza. And, although he hasn't admitted it publicly, I'm pretty sure Matt has a crush on her, hence the *BIG* interest in coming to the party.Well, it was a blast of a party! A real banger, as Maggie would say. We danced, sang, had fun, saw people we didn't even remember existed... Unfortunately, like all good things, this party also came to an end. More specifically around three in the morning. Maggie and Henry got a ride from a classmate from our statistics course who lives near their homes. Matt stayed a little longer at the warehouse to help the siblings "clean up" everything, and I decided to take a taxi home, as I figured Matt would take a while. The taxi had just arrived when I felt a shiver run up my spine, but when I got in... Well... I think you already know what comes next...
