What a magnificent creature. White as a pearl, vigorous, and radiant with power. It had bat wings so striking yet so delicate that they almost seemed unreal. A youthful yet wise face, one that had seen much. Such magnificence was difficult for our eyes to fully absorb at once—after all, a powerful celestial being stood before us!Zurden stood still for a moment, observing his surroundings; as for us, we were also still—or rather, paralyzed—watching him. The dragon, after tiring of his gaze, decided to walk in our direction, completely ignoring our presence and without the slightest care for where he placed his massive snow-lizard-like paws. We had to scramble to avoid being trampled. Cat grabbed the old, stubborn westerner who was directly in the path of one of the dragon's hind feet and pulled him aside, making him groan about his back. There was no one who wasn't fearful of what Zurden might do, but to be honest, I don't think anyone was certain he even saw us—until he addressed us with a voice so deep it reverberated in our eardrums: "Travelers of the Universus, I am Zurden, the Guardian of Air and Winds. I see curiosity and fear in your eyes, but also determination."The dragon spoke with majestic calm, his voice echoing like the gentle whisper of the wind. He stretched his albino bat wings, casting a shadow that enveloped us as he continued his monologue. "Lacus, Ara, and Timeo... I know the story of the battle and the victory. I received the spear of Lacus as a gift, a reminder of the alliance we sealed on that day. Now, you are the heirs of balance, those destined to uphold harmony among the realms."Zurden turned his wise gaze toward each of us, as if he were reading the depths of our souls."The world needs your guidance to prevent the war that threatens existence. I, Zurden, Dragon of the Air, Guardian of the Winds, will always be here, in the skies, watching over the balance and ready to help when needed."With these words, the Dragon of Air took flight once again, his majestic wings slicing through the air. As he disappeared into a whirlwind high above where we stood, we all felt a sense of confidence and purpose, knowing that we had Zurden's blessing and guidance in our mission to preserve the balance in the three realms: Amluk, Tatvicc, and Eiva.
