Some showed enthusiasm, but many were reluctant. Meanwhile, the twins stayed on the lawn, trying to convince the soldiers to take part in the pleasant walk towards danger and likely imminent death. Seth turned to me:"Are you coming with us?""Against a dragon?" I figured they'd try to convince me as well, but I still didn't have a clear answer."I understand that we may be asking a lot; any of these soldiers have more combat experience, but it was you who were prophesied to help us."Honestly, I think I already knew what I was going to say, but I decided to wait a little longer to avoid making a hasty decision.When I returned to my room, I looked at the phone I had brought from my Earth. I tried to connect to the internet, but with no success. Networks probably didn't work the same way between different Earths... it made me think of my friends, who used to flood my social media with messages, and my family, who must have called countless times, with me never answering.
