Au: Crystal spirits (a multi part one-shot)

Context: The Soul Eater tries to take Light Steve's soul. The spirits take full control as Chromatic!Light Steve and beat up TSE (The Soul Eater). Whenever Light is possessed by one one or more of the crystal spirits, his eyes glow their color, mixing when there are more than one.

POV: Blue crystal spirit

The Soul Eater had managed to get our host, Light Steve, away from the main fight and to an unknown location. We can tell that TSE is just playing with Light. He was holding back. "He is just lucky that Light has yet to unlock his true abilities." Yellow grumbled next to me. It was true. If Light had even a fraction of his true abilities unlocked, he would be able to at least scratch TSE. "We all know he can't unlock any of his powerful abilities on his own. Goggles would have to put him in a machine to do that." Red said next. We all watched the fight with growing worry. TSE was really doing a number on our host. I don't think Light can take many more hits.

I was proven right when 3 more hits from TSE later, Light came crashing down to the ground. He was exhausted and beaten to a pulp. Unlike Red, Violet, and Orange, who all liked to take control of Light suddenly and without a warning, I didn't want to possess our host unless it was absolutely needed. Light was on the ground slowly trying to crawl backward, away from TSE. Light couldn't react on time before TSE had him by the coler of his shirt. Light kicked his legs out as an attempt to get away but failed to do so. TSE was preparing to take Light's Soul!

I decided to finally let everyone intervene and take control. "Leave us alone!" I said as I uppercuted TSE. TSE realed back and let go of his hold he had on Light Steve's shirt. Green started healing all of Light's injuries, making Light's eyes glow green for a few seconds. TSE looked at us with clear surprise on his face. TSE recovered from my hit and saw Light, or well, technically Green, healing us. He went for another attack, but Yellow saw it coming and put up an energy shield. Our eyes were now glowing yellow, green, and blue. TSE didn't react fast enough and ramed right into it. "Pfftt, haha. Loser!" Orange laughed at TSE. I swear he is a child sometimes.

Red was getting his supercharged fireballs ready to throw at TSE once Yellow let down the shield. Green finished healing us, and Yellow let down the shield. Now our eyes were blue and red. Red immediately threw over 29 supercharged fireballs right at TSE's face. If it wasn't for the fact that I was the calmest and most level-headed out of everyone, I would have laughed along with Violet. I mentality shook my head and controlled the body of our host, using his experience in battle to fight. Violet was talking to Light as that is now what we do when the rest of us are controlling his body.

I remember the first time I took control was when I hugged Seer and stopped Light and Rainbow Void from fighting. Sence then, Seer has been more of himself nowadays. But now was not the time to daydream about anything as we were beating up TSE, I even used some of my spirit abilities and messed with his soul a little bit. "He is getting a taste of his own medicine!" Said Orange when he saw me use the same soul sucking ability. After a while, we all knew that TSE was getting tired, and we were about to collapse again as well. We asked Light if he could use the power from Indigo or Galaxy Steve yet, and sadly, he said no. We would have to get him to practice with the Indigo Steves.

TSE teleported to his base away from our fight, and we followed suit, going back home. We teleported to the outpost and looked for the Cliff. He was one of the only ones I trusted with our host after we possessed him and had a big fight. Red and all the rest of us spirits had let me take control as I didn't often. Our eyes were now just blue. As I looked for Cliff, I saw him sitting and waiting in the tent that our host had apparently claimed. Knowing from how many times we have done this before, I laid us down on one of the sleeping bags and let Light take back control of his body. We all were exhausted and wanted to sleep. Cliff was the only one who seemed to get that we didn't have unlimited energy like everyone else thinks.

"Hey guys. I see your back and in one peace. Also, thanks for keeping my friend from passing out this time." Cliff chuckled, remembering how every time one of us introduced ourselves, Light would pass out each time. Light nodded for us and closed his eyes, feeling safe and cared for. Cliff had always been there for Light, and we respected that greatly. We really liked Cliff, sometimes more than Soren, but it was difficult to choose who was our favorite.
