AT THE BEACH
Taehyung's phone buzzed in his pocket, pulling him from the serene moment he was sharing with Ria.
They both were still layed on the beach, enjoying the soft breeze and each other's company, but the sudden vibration made his heart skip.
His peaceful expression hardened as he pulled out his phone, the security notification glaring at him.
"What's that?" Ria asked, noticing the sudden change in his demeanor.
Taehyung's face tightened as he opened his security app, flicking through the live camera feeds from his apartment.
He paused, zooming in on the feed from the living room. His eyes narrowed as he spotted the masked figure, standing confidently in front of the camera, staring straight into the lens.
The man tilted his head, as if amused by Taehyung watching him, and then, even through the mask, Taehyung could sense the smirk.
The intruder slowly raised his hand and drew a rectangle shape indicating a cover—Taehyung knew instantly what it was.
The documents."Shit," Taehyung cursed under his breath, his voice strained.
Ria immediately sat up, her gaze filled with concern. "What happened?"
Taehyung didn't respond for a moment, still glued to the screen as the intruder gave a mocking salute to the camera and disappeared from the frame.
"I need to go," he said, his voice firm, already rising to his feet.
"I'm coming with you," Ria insisted, standing up just as quickly.
"No, Ria," Taehyung shot back, panic flashing in his eyes. "It's too dangerous. I don't know who that is or what they're capable of."
Ria stepped closer, grabbing his wrist, her eyes determined. "I don't care about the danger, Tae. I'm coming with you. I want to be with you, no matter what. You're not doing this alone."
Taehyung stared at her for a moment, torn between protecting her and the reality that he might need her by his side.
He softened, realizing there was no point in arguing with her. In one swift motion, he leaned down, giving her a quick peck on the cheek before grabbing her hand.
"Okay, but stay close," he said, and without wasting another second, they ran to their car, Ria matching his pace.
As they reached the car, Taehyung fumbled for his phone, dialing Suga.
"Hyung" he panted as he ran, "there's been an intruder in my apartment. I'm heading there now. You and Hobi hyung need to meet us, ASAP."
"Ok , got it" Suga replied, his voice sharp. "Don't do anything until we're all there. This could be a trap."
"Got it," Taehyung said, hanging up as they neared his car.
