Taehyung entered Ria's home, greeted by a warm chatter that filled the air.
The room was alive with the buzz of excitement, wedding plans scattered across the tables, and friends clustered in animated conversations.
The moment he stepped in, all eyes turned to him, their conversations pausing.
"I've spoken to my father," he announced, a faint smile playing at his lips. "He agreed to this marriage."
The room fell silent, everyone staring at him in shock. "What...?" they questioned in unison, voices blending together in disbelief.
"Yeah," Taehyung continued, shrugging lightly. "He's accepted it. It seems almost... too easy, honestly."
Jhope was the first to break the silence, crossing his arms as he narrowed his eyes at Taehyung. "And you're just... okay with this? You don't think he has something planned?"
A flash of resolve glinted in Taehyung's eyes as he nodded. "I know him too well to think he'd simply accept my decision without a hidden motive. But whatever he's planning, I'm ready. I'm not afraid anymore."
Suga, standing beside Jhope, raised a brow, clearly skeptical. "You've always been brave, Taehyung, but just make sure you're prepared for whatever he throws at you."
Taehyung's gaze softened as he looked around the room, his friends standing by him with unwavering support. "I am. And this time, I know I'm not facing it alone."
Two weeks later
Two weeks has passed since the news of marriage came out, life had settled into a joyful routine of wedding preparations, anticipation growing each day.
Taehyung felt as if he were living in a dream, the reality of their upcoming marriage finally sinking in.
He glanced at the tables strewn with color palettes, sketches, and guest lists—evidence of the meticulous planning and careful thought Ria had put into every detail.
Ria's excitement was contagious. She wanted every part of this celebration to reflect the love they shared, the unity of two lives joining as one.
Taehyung's heart swelled as he thought of her wishes for the ceremony, the way she talked about the joy of everyone celebrating together, the laughter and memories to be made.
His gaze drifted over to her as she moved around the room, her face glowing with a happiness that lit up the entire house.
He felt his breath catch as she looked over at him, her smile so radiant, it felt like the sun rising over the horizon.
"Ria," he murmured, stepping closer to her. "I'd cross a thousand lifetimes just to see you smile like that."
She laughed softly, her eyes dancing with warmth as she looked up at him. "You're getting poetic, Tae."
"Can you blame me?" he said, his voice low, thick with affection. "I'm about to marry the love of my life. It feels like everything I've ever dreamed of is coming true."
