The dim glow of the city bled through the large windows of Taehyung's apartment, casting long shadows that danced like ghosts on the walls.

The silence was not peace—it was tension wrapped in silk, the stillness before something irreversibly violent.

Jimin hunched over the dining table, the wood buried beneath maps, classified files, offshore banking reports, and floor plans that screamed of secrets.

His eyes flicked up for a second, catching Taehyung's silhouette by the window—rigid, statue-still, save for the silver pen he rolled between his fingers like it was a trigger.

Taehyung didn't need to speak for the air to turn colder.

Jimin cleared his throat, tapping a red mark on the map. "Your father built his kingdom on fear and power."

Taehyung turned slowly. The smirk that pulled at his lips didn't reach his eyes.

"He's about to understand what fear really feels like," he murmured. "Not from the boardroom. Not from rivals. But from the people he swore he owned."

There was venom in his voice—cold, controlled. The kind that doesn't shout. The kind that waits.

Jimin leaned back, arms crossed. "We're already shaking the foundation. The share holder's are pulling out. But we need more than panic—we need chaos. Something that makes every name attached to him vanish like rats off a sinking ship."

A shadow flickered in Taehyung's eyes. "Expose him. Strip him bare. Let the world see the rot behind the legacy. Not just the fraud... but the tyrant. The abuser. The man who called chains 'love' and blood 'business.'"

Jimin's jaw tensed, but he said nothing.

Taehyung stepped forward, both palms now flat on the table.

"He put my mother in chains and called it love. He tried to put Ria and Anya in a coffin for a fucking company and called it power . He put me in a cage and dared to call it legacy. Now... I'll show him what it feels like to lose everything. I'll take everything from him, piece by piece, until there's nothing left but his own regret."

His voice dropped, fangs in every syllable.

"I'll turn his empire into a graveyard."

Jimin exhaled slowly, nodding. "Then we don't stop at exposure. We dismantle him—financially, socially, emotionally. One piece at a time."

A low grin curled on Taehyung's lips. "Let him watch as his empire bleeds. Let him feel what it's like to be helpless."

Jimin gave a small, dark chuckle. "You've changed, Taehyung."

"No," Taehyung whispered. "I've just remembered who I was before he tried to tame me."

Elsewhere—beneath the surface of the city—

The underground garage echoed with the rhythmic, distant drip of water. The concrete walls were stained with oil and time, and the air reeked of gasoline and ghosts.

Jungkook paced like a wolf in a cage, jaw clenched, eyes sharp. Vince leaned lazily against the hood of the car, arms crossed, watching him like a storm about to touch ground.

Mr. Park flipped through a tablet loaded with encrypted files, but his eyes weren't calm—they were hunting.

"The clue Ria gave us," Jungkook began, his voice low and dangerous, "leads back to that night."

Mr. Park froze. "You're talking about—?"

"The night my father was murdered," Jungkook said, placing a photo on the hood.

A man with a jagged scar down his cheek. Cigarette. Blank eyes. The devil in human skin.

Vince's whistle was the only sound. "He looks like a pawn. But I'd bet my last bullet he's got blood under his fingernails."

Jungkook didn't flinch. "Ria remembered him. Said he was one of the men who dragged my father's body."

His fists clenched, knuckles white.

"And I'm going to carve his sins into his skin before he dies."

Vince smirked, slow and bloodthirsty. "So we're not giving him to the cops?"

Jungkook's laugh was bitter, empty. "Fuck the cops. I want him to suffer. I won't let him crawl a second time."

Mr. Park sighed, like a man watching someone drown and knowing the water was already in their lungs. "Revenge is a fire, kid. It won't just burn him—it'll burn you too."

Jungkook looked him dead in the eye. "I hope it does."

The silence that followed was absolute.

Vince stretched, cracking his neck. "Then let's hunt. I've been starving for something like this. It's been a while , since i saw blood""

As they locked and loaded weapons, there was no dramatic music. No speeches. Just purpose—the kind you sharpen like a blade.

Jungkook stared at the scarred man's photo one last time, and his voice was a whisper wrapped in death:

"Tonight, the chase ends.
Tomorrow, the screaming begins."
