"Do you really have to leave tomorrow?" I asked. Carrie is heading out to Nevada for the ACMs next week.

She came up to me and kissed my cheek. "Of course I have to go. I'm nominated and I have a performance." She smiled and rubbed my chin with her thumb.

I lifted her over my shoulder as I ran up the stairs to my bedroom. Her laughed soared through the house until I reached my door.

"Mike, please don't drop me!" She squealed as I playfully threw her on my bed.

I hovered over her body and she wrapped her legs around my waist. "This place sucks when your gone." I said with pure honesty. We stared deeply into each other's eyes. She put her hands around my neck and sighed deeply.

"Well you're gonna have to find something to replace me." She whispered and bit her lip.

"Nothing can replace you." As soon as those words left my mouth, she had the biggest smile on her face. "I don't think there's any other person, place or thing that can do you justice." I whispered, nuzzling my nose against hers.

"Good. Cause that's the way it should be." She said in that soft, sweet tone of hers.

"And it will always be that way." I answered and captured her mouth with such hunger and desire.

She roughly bit my lip as things began to heat up. Her lips were slightly part as I swirled motions inside her mouth. A smirk creeped on my face as she moaned in delight. We continued to sensually kiss until our lungs needed oxygen.

She laid her head on my chest as we gasped for air. She slowly dragged her fingers in a circular motion on my chest, causing my insides to flip like crazy. Every single touch of hers had me on the edge and I loved it.

My hands began to stoke her shoulders as we cuddled. "What song are you going to sing?" I asked. When it comes to award shows, I don't really know what to expect.

"Well, I'm apart of the opening act to sing a small part of All-American Girl. And then later on in the show I'll sing, I Told You So." She smiled, looking up into my eyes.

"I love how your voice just soars in that song." I just smiled. Obviously I don't know what terminology to use when it comes to singing.

"Really, what part is it." She raised her eyebrow at me. Obviously she knows what part I'm talking about but she wants to hear from me.

"You know, the part when you sing.." I paused as I took to breath. "I toooold you soooooo." I sang, trying my best to mimic her amazing voice but failed miserably.

"Oh, gosh. You're terrible." She giggled into my neck. I continued to sing loudly just so I can hear that cute laugh of hers. She softly whacked my chest.

"Hey! You asked for it." I laughed and then kissed her head. "I also like when you sing in a softer tone during the verses. It's so beautiful and soothing."

"Looks whose catching up on the music terminology." She said, placing a small kiss on my chin. "It's my favorite song from Randy Travis."

"It's a nice song. What awards are you nominated for?" I ask we sat up against the headboard.

"I'm nominated for Music Video of the Year, Album of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year and Entertainer of the Year." She nervously breathed after naming all of her nominations.

"Well I hope you win all of those. No offense to the other artists but you're the best of the best." I smiled at her and gave her a quick peck on her lips.

"Thanks, but I don't think I'm the best to win entertainer of the year." She said, looking down at her hands. Sometimes it amazes me when she doesn't even realize how good she is.

I lift her chin up and made her face me. "That's nonsense. There's not one singer that can sing like you do. You write and sing great songs with so much passion. And plus, you have millions of fans who'll always have your back. Win or lose, you'll always be the Entertainer of the year." I said with a big grin.

Her cheeks turned completely red as she smiled up at me. "I'm so lucky to have a guy like you. You're too good for me." She put hers hands on my chest and sat on my lap.

"Oh, believe me, I'm the lucky one to have such an amazing, caring and beautiful woman like you........You're a blessing. And you deserve to be treated like a queen." I spoke in a low tone as my eyes were getting lost into hers.

She wrapped her arms around my neck and brought our foreheads together. We closed our eyes for awhile before she pulled away. I knew she was in deep thought as she continued to stare into my eyes. She briefly looked down at my waist before looking back at me.
"I love you.."
