Tonight, Carrie is performing at Opry. She's talk about it many times. The Opry holds a special place in her heart. I wished I knew her back when she got inducted, just to witness that special moment. But I'm really looking forward to tonight and watch her perform.

Right now, Carrie is getting some last minute touches as we wait in her dressing room. I drank some water and glanced at the wall full of the iconic women in Country Music.

Giggles quickly got my attention. Carrie and her makeup/hairstylist, Melissa were chatting and smiling. I smiled as I watched them, the two seem to be really good friends. That's another thing what I love about her. She is treat her team really well. I mean, she's friends with all of them, always hanging out and supporting them as well.

"Doesn't she look amazing!" Melissa exclaimed with her hands out directing them at Carrie. The two ladies giggled as Carrie gave a cute little twirl in her light blue dress.

"Beautiful." I smiled as Carrie walked towards me. "How long till you go up on stage?"

"In 5 to 10 minutes.." She softly squealed as Melissa poked her sides.

"I'll be back in a bit." Melissa said with a huge smile. "And Mike, I've got eyes everywhere. So be alert."

I couldn't but chuckle as Melissa tried stare me down in a serious manner. "Yes ma'am." I saluted, while Carrie draped arm on my waist.

"She wasn't kidding Mike." Carrie said, but I can tell she's holding a little laugh.

"Yeah whatever, Care." I chuckled and pulled her down with me on the couch.

"Darn it!" She hissed, leaning her head against my shoulder. "I'm happy that you stayed longer  Nashville."

"If you can do a month in Canada, I can do a month here in NASHVEGAS!" I yelled at the end as Carrie was laughing.

"I think I spent more than a month in Canada." She raised her eyebrow and caressed my cheek.

"You know I would love to spend way more than a month with you." I whispered, giving a soft kiss on her cheek.

"I know." She smiled while there was a soft knock on the door. "Well I think it's time for me to hit the stage."

We both stood up and walked towards the door. Carrie and her people quickly led her to the stage while I followed quietly in the back.

I stood on the side of the stage as they announce Carrie. Before she walked on she sent me sweet smile with a wink.

I ended hanging with Ivey as we Carrie perform. Obviously Ivey was here to support Mark and Carrie since they are very close friends. More like BFFs.

Everyone in the Opry gave her standing ovation as she finished her set. She quickly thanked the crowd before walking off.

"Ivey!" Carrie squealed as she gave her best friend a hug. "How come I didn't see ya earlier."

"I had to stay late for work and then I was caught in the traffic bug." Ivey chuckled. "I just came here just in time and I saw Mike."

Carrie giggled as walked towards me. "Hello Mark." I mentioned as Mark was now standing next to Ivey, giving her kisses.

"Mikey my boy." Mark laughed as Carrie gave her weird look. "What he's my boy right?"

I nodded as Carrie just laughed. "Nice rocking that bass out there."

"Best bass player on the planet." Ivey added.

"You know." Mark chuckled raising his hands in the air. "The best player working with best boss ever!" He now shifting his hands to Carrie.

"Woohoo!" Carrie added, throwing her hands in the air.

We ended saying our goodbyes to mark and Ivey and the rest of the band. Carrie introduced me to other faculty members of the Grand Ole Opry as we were heading our way.

The traffic after the show was not that bad but it took us about thirty minutes to get back to Carrie's house. We ended watching horror movies all night long as we passed out on the living room couch.
