A HEART REVIVED

Luna's life unfolded with gentle ease,
Part-time work with Anne, a sweet release.
Their bond grew strong, a friendship true,
Over hot chocolate and croissants, shared anew.

Anne's dreams had bloomed, a coffee shop delight,
Unique bakes and warmth, a haven in sight.
But life's cruel twist, a love cut short,
A husband lost, a heart forever torn.

Six months of bliss, a love so pure,
Petrakis' passing, Anne's heart endure.
Luna listened, tears streaming free,
Embracing Anne, a hug of empathy.

Childhood memories flooded Luna's mind,
Waiting for prince charming, left behind.
Did she deserve love? Self-doubt crept,
Anne's words dispelled the shadows, lifted.

"You're my daughter, an angel true,
Beautiful inside and out, shining through.
You remind me of Petrakis, kind and bright,
May God bless you, child, in morning light."

Luna's heart swelled, happy tears flowed,
Grateful for Anne, a love that glowed.
Academic triumphs followed, distinctions galore,
Caleb and Shirley seethed, envy's bitter score.

Unaware of the storm brewing near,
Luna basked in joy, her heart clear.
Little did she know, their sinister plan,
A threat looming, a fragile heart to span.

Luna's Journey continues!...
