Chapter 3:
Eleanora:
It was the morning of my first day at Arsenal, most of the girls who are already part of the club knew I was signing and the general public were making up a variety of rumours, but none of that bothered me.
I first had to have a meeting with Jonas and the management team just going over the final parts of my contract before signing it. Viv was also coming down with me earlier than when her training started as she would be in some of the signing photos as my parents were still in Holland, so Viv was the family member to be in the photos. I am pretty sure she is also going to be a part of my introduction video, which I know the fans will love.
I headed into the kitchen after getting changed into black leggings and a grey turtle neck jumper with a black gilet, something smart yet still comfortable and easy to get into and out of for when we take pictures.
After a quick morning coffee and short catch up with Viv and Beth it was time to go.
It was a strange feeling heading to a football club that I had never met before. When I signed for Arsenal I was purely going off a quick stop tour Viv had given me on face time, a meeting with my management and the Arsenal management teams. Beth kindly drove Viv and I there, she needed to be in later anyway as there was team training at 11-4 so she just had a couple hours to wait around and chill.
When we got there it was a lot bigger than I had expected, I was greeted by Winnie the dog who was really cute but not as cute as Myle my sister and Beth's dog. Winnie clearly was a big fan of Beth as I was sniffed and then she moved on. Beth ended up taking Winnie away on a walk whilst I met with Jonas and management before the signing of the contract.
After going over everything I was very happy and we headed to the room where the signings took place. At first we got pictures with just me holding the pen getting ready to sign the book, a photo with my Arsenal shirt and number, and then a photo with Jonas and finally a photo with Viv.
Viv ended up leaving for a short period of time as she had a physio appointment so I cracked on with the first interview and announcement videos which we were taking around the training centre and also took a short trip over to Arsenal, this all had to be done quickly so that the editing team could quickly put it all together before the announcement at 10. The whole team was so lovely so far and it just made me think that I had definitely made the right decision.
Putting on the Arsenal shirt for the first time was such an honour, it felt warm, it felt like home. I had gone for number 10 as when I was growing up I always changed my number when Viv changed her number I always went 1 number lower then her apart from the one time where I had to do the number above.

Viv came in at the end of the shoot to get some more pictures together as now that I was here her shirt had to change slightly to so the commentators won't get confused her shirt read:

She also did her short video for the announcement video and that was a wrap.

It hit 10am, 1 hour before my first training and it was time to announce my departure from Ajax and my arrival for Arsenal.
