Chapter 4:
Please note their has been a change in POV, it has switched from Ellie to Leah, When a POV changes i will always write the persons name in bold x
Leah:
I had heard about the rumor of a new signing a couple of weeks ago, and as players we are told a week before who is coming. When we found out that it was Viv's sister she was swarmed with questions. Viv had told us she was a consistent player with good finishing skills and that she can imagine she would link up well with Alessia. Beth told us - as she had met Eleanora once with Viv that she was a lovely, kind girl that would get on well here.
I was excited to me her and couldn't wait to see what she added to the team.
She was signing for Arsenal on the 5th of September so a couple weeks before the WSL season will start.
On the morning of her arrival Jonas had informed me that I would be giving her a quick tour after our meeting, which I was fine with, I guess it would give me a bit of time to start getting to know her.
After the meeting Jonas introduced us both and we set off on our quick tour.
She was quite quiet but I guess that is expected as it was her first day and she doesn't know me, and I know I can have a face on and seem quite cold at first, so I have been told by a variety of the girls.
I was asking her the most random questions or questions that didn't relate to each other and I didn't know why. Our conversation just wasn't flowing like how I normally have conversations with people.
Maybe I was slightly nervous? But what about?

Eleanora:
We had all finished our pre activation and now we were all getting ready to head out to the pitches. I had met the strength and conditioning coaches in the pre activation and they said they were in the process of making me my gym plan and will be giving it to me tomorrow.
Now it was time to meet the coaches which included Kelly Smith who I have been told by Alessia doesn't say a lot but when she speaks her words mean loads.
We were walking out to the pitches and when we got there the coaches all introduced themselves.
We put of trackers in and began training.
We started with some simple running drills, speed drills and reaction drills before moving in and out of cones and warming up our legs and knees properly which is something the coaches had told me they were really focusing on this year to try and reduce ACL injuries, we the moved onto some ball skills and control. I was already loving it and I had barely touched the ball. We performed short and long passes a couple of headers, and everyone has a couple of shots at goal.
The training session was filled with laughter and lots of smiles. That was until..
