Eleanora:
Leah had demanded that we took a walk to this café for brunch she said the walk would be more enjoyable than a car ride, so that's what we did

"When are you going to go back to training?" I asked as a walk travelled through a small park

"Probably tomorrow, just to see how I feel before we go on our preseason tour, as we have the day off before we fly" she said

"Oh yes I keep forgetting that we train tomorrow have then 9th off and then leave the morning of the 10th, I think I need to start keeping a calendar"

"Here I'll just share my calendar with you, what's your number"

"Oh Leah, any excuse to get my number" I laughed, "no just joking, here let me get it, I haven't learnt my English number yet" I said reaching into my pocket to pull out my phone and showing her my number which she then typed into her phone

"Thank you, okay I just sent it through, you should be able to tap the link and then press allow for my 'football' calendar to copy over to yours, then you will have the dates of our trainings, matches and off days" she said, putting her phone away again

"Thank you, I really appreciate it" I said flicking through the calendar quickly that was now in my phone "uhh Leah" I said

She stopped and turned around as she was a couple steps in front of me

"Yeah?" She said as I walked up to stand next to her and show her was was on my phone

"Why is my birthday in your calendar" I asked laughing slightly and looking at her

She was going visibly red "because it's coming up"

Leah:
For fucks sake, are you joking, I didn't even realise I put that in my football calendar that was meant to going in my private calendar.

My face literally felt like it was on fire and all I managed to say was "because it's coming up" like really Leah come on

"How did you know it was coming up" she said dragging my hand so we kept walking and so I wasn't stood like a statue, she never let go of my hand so now we were walking hand and hand through this small park

"Uh, Viv told me!" I said sounding too confident to be true

"Realllyyy, hmm, or did you just search it up"

"I wasn't searching you up to find your birthday, I was searching you up to look at the way you play, nothing but for footballing purposes" I said

I have to say I thought that was a good little comeback, and slightly got me out of the hole I had managed to create

"Like what you see" she said sounding all cocky

"Oh shush, come on" I said and started walking further

Eleanora:
Shortly after our stroll through the small park we found ourselves at the entrance of this small café

"After you" Leah said holding her arm out, indicating for me to walk through the door first

I walked in and an aroma of smells filled my nose, pastry, cake you name it and it all smelt so good

"Do you have a preference on where we sit?" I asked Leah

"No you choose, anywhere"

"Okay, let's go here in the corner by the window"

We both looked at the menu's and decided what we wanted to eat and drink - strangely it was the same as each other, Sourdough with Ham and cheese but we both only wanted mozzarella and not cheddar, with a hot chocolate and marshmallows, no cream. It was weird knowing someone who was also so fussy with their food, my mum, dad and Viv eat pretty much everything but not me.

Leah went up to go and order the food

"Wait Leah here" I said handing her my card so I could pay

"Nope" she said and continued walking to the counter

"Leah, come on I am paying" I said standing up and following her to the counter

"No El, sit down" she said giving me the look as if to say don't you even think about playing "you payed for our dinner last night, my turn"

"Fine" I said turning back around to go back to my chair

She come back shortly after ordering and paying

"Don't be in a strop" she said

"I am not" I said

"Mhm, then why are you pouting" she said reaching out to my face and cupping my face in her hands

"Next time and everytime I pay" i said, with my face still in her hands

"So you want this to happen again" she said grinning

I took her hands away from my face "don't get over confident" I said smiling back at her, as I definitely wanted to be spending more time with her
