The bear grabbed another vegetable, the sound of the knife slicing through and hitting the cutting board filling the kitchen.

"Danielle Marsh."

Minji glanced over to see Dani rummaging around the fridge, "huh?"

The younger girl didn't meet Minji's eyes as she closed the refrigerator door, turning on the stove.

"My full name is Danielle Marsh."

Minji smiled, knowing why she told her out of the blue.

"It's nice to meet you, Danielle Marsh."

Danielle rolled her eyes, thanking the bear for cutting the vegetables.

"Yeah whatever, Kim Minji."

"Does Haerin know?"

"She knew for a while... But um... I told her to never use it around you. She doesn't use it that often to be honest, I've heard it a couple times from her when she talks to Hanni though."

Minji nodded, "thank you for trusting me."

Danielle glanced at Minji before starting to put ingredients into the hot pan.

"But if you hurt Hanni or Haerin I'm still beating your ass."

"No more throwing me into the ocean after torturing me?"

The younger girl rolled her eyes again, "I'll think about it."

She took another look at Minji, the two staring at each other in the silence of the sizzling food.

Minji and Danielle bursted out laughing, the younger of the two focusing back on the food as the bear held the cutting board to bring it to the sink.

"What's Hanni's full name?"

"I heard my name."

Minji startled from the sudden voice, the cutting board she held dropping onto the counter before falling into the sink with a dull clatter.

"Holy fuck-"

Hanni was immediately at Minji's side, "sorry, I didn't mean to scare you."

She held her arm, "are you okay, Minbear?"

Minji flustered up from the nickname, "M-Minbear???"

'T-that's a new one...'

"Yeah 'cause you know, Minji... Min... You look and feel like a bear... Minbear..."

"..."

Danielle lightly nudged Minji's shoulder, "get used to it. Also get used to her popping out of nowhere with no noise at all, that's normal for her."

Minji, who was still red, pursed her lips with a short nod.

"Anyway," Hanni dropped the grocery bag onto the counter, "I heard my name."

"What's your full name?"

The younger girl raised an eyebrow, "huh? Why do you wanna know all of a sudden?"

Danielle spoke up as she kept her eyes on the food, "I told her mine."

"Which one??"

The youngest of the three stared at her best friend weirdly alongside the oldest, "huh?"
