I knew I had made the right decision as soon as I turned to face Tarin and Rygar. I felt the wind gusts trying to pull me towards them. It took me a minute to finalize my decision, but as I turned to Kale, he mouthed " Do what's best for you!". I smiled at him and turned back to Rygar and Tarin walking towards house Ignis. I could feel the people around me whispering and watching as I walked over.

"Welcome to Ignis, little vampire!" Rygar says, smiling at me. I turn to look at Tarin, who says, "it was the room being next to me?" he says laughing. "Yes Tarin that was it!" I say laughing at him. Rygar starts to walk towards the Ignis towers, nodding for everyone to follow him. We all gather within the common room of the tower before he starts speaking. "Welcome to Ignis, we are the strongest house here, full of leaders and some of the most powerful fae." Rygar says stopping to scanthe room, locking eyes with me. "We used to haze, but since a hazing gone wrong it has been banned." he says, laughing, looking away. I roll my eyes at his sentiment because I know if it was allowed, he would have hazed me. "Rooms are not assigned but they must be approved by the house leaders before being taken." Rygar says, smiling at some freshman girls.

Tarin leans into my ear "that room is yours." he says, standing back up straight, wiping off his black tee that hugged his muscles perfectly. I look at him and back to Rygar, who has finished talking and is now flirting with the new girls. "Lets get your stuff upstairs!" Tarin says, grabbing my bag from me before I can protest he starts climbing the stairs. "I didn't realize this would be on the top floor" I say jokingly as we continue to climb the flights of stairs. "Afraid of a a little workout little vampire?" Tarin says, laughing, shifting my bag in his hands. " says the one struggling to hold that bag!" I joke back. "What did you pack in here, a dead body?" he says, looking back. "Thats not even half the clothes I brought!" I say, laughing harder.

We finally reached the top floor where there were four rooms in a circle. "This is mine, that's Rygars, and that's Enders, but he mainly stays with Augustaline on a lower floor!" Tarin says, pointing to each door. "And this will be yours!" he says, walking towards the last door. He pushes it open to expose a room with a single bed in it. The room was full of sunlight and had a beautiful view of the forest. "Will this work?" Tarin asks, placing my bag on the floor near the closet. "Its perfect!" I say wowed by the view. My room at the Academy was very dark and had no view.

Tarin walks over and joins me by the window. We stand staring out into the forest and the campus. As we are standing there, I move an inch closer to him, grazing his hand. He looks over to me, giving me a look of longing. He turns to face me, "Elara.." he starts, but I cut him off, grabbing the back of his neck and pulling him in for a kiss. He pulls me closer to him, wrapping his hands around my waist as his tongue finds its way inside my mouth. We stop when a knock comes to the door, and it slowly opens, revealing Rygar leaning on the doorframe. "Well that was quick." Rygar laughs walking in.

"Can we help you?" I say shooting him a glare. "I just wanted to come and see how my new floor mate was settling in. From the looks of it just fine!" he laughs, grabbing a seat on my bed. " Thanks for stopping by well see you later!" I say, walking to the door, opening it gesturing for him to leave.

"I think we got off on the wrong foot, little vampire." Rygar says, standing up and walking the opposite way of the door. I sigh, closing it, knowing he isn't leaving any time soon. "You mean when you locked me in a closet?" I say, crossing my arms standing in the middle of the room. Tarin is a few feet away from me, watching Rygar as he leans against the window. "Umm yeah, that or whatever." he says, smiling waving his hand like it was nothing. "I have a feeling you and I are going to become really good friends." Rygar continues matching my crossed arm look. "What would give you that impression?" I saying, letting out a soft giggle. "Well since you and Tarin are kind of a thing now." he says, pointing between me and Tarin making both of us blush. "Im guessing there will be a lot more of me, and you in eachothers lives." Rygar says, standing tall. "Lets just make a truce here and now. No more locking you in a closet or whatever. You and I are friends." he says, moving towards me with his hands out. I look between him and Tarin, who gives me a hopeful smile. "Fine deal." I say, grabbing his hand without letting go he pulls me in to him. "More than friends if you ever want to." he says, whispering in my ear. I push him off as he just starts laughing. Tarin and I just stared at him until he stopped. "Okay okay I'll let you guys get back to it." Rygar says, winking. "Maybe lock this!" he says, pointing to the door knob.

Rygar closes the door, I walk over and lock it immediately. I turn around and lean against the door, looking over at Tarin. "Anywas.." he says, leaning back against the wall next to me bed. I walk back over to where he was, wrapping up in a hug. "Elara" Tarin says, leaning back from our embrace. I hesitated before responding "yeah?" I ask, questioning him. We looked into eachothers eyes before he said, "I'm glad you are here." I smile at him, leaning in to kiss him again.

Tarin picks me up and places me on my desk. We continue to kiss, working our hands all over each others bodies. Tarin movies his hands up my waist slightly, lifting my shirt as we stay connected kissing. His hands started to move further up to find my breast. Before he could get there, I let out a breathy "wait" I say, panting. Tarin pulls his hands back, "I'm sorry." he says, immediately backing up a step. "No you're fine. I just need to move slowly." I say, looking down. Tarin walks back over to where he placed me on the desk. Lifting my chin " Hey, that's okay." he says, leaning back in for another kiss.

"Should we go and grab some food then?" he says, moving back a step, fixing himself inside his clothing. "Sounds great. I'm starving!" I say, standing up from the desk. We head to the door before Tarin turns back around to me. "I mean it, Elara. I'm so happy that you're back!" he says, grabbing my hand. I smile and think to myself "me too".
