Now we move towards the end very soon.
The Avengers, along with Nick Fury, Maria Hill, and a contingent of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, fought their way through the chaos, the automated turrets unleashed a relentless barrage of fire. Each step forward was met with gunfire and explosions, but the team pressed on, refusing to be deterred.
"Come on, JARVIS! We need those defenses down now!" Fury barked, his voice cutting through the din of battle.
"I am working on it, Director," JARVIS replied, his tone calm even amidst the chaos. "I'm attempting to override the system. Please hold."
The tension in the air was palpable as the Avengers strategized, dodging the turret fire and coordinating their movements. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, JARVIS's voice broke through the noise with a triumphant tone. "Defenses have been successfully overridden. The automated turrets are now offline."
"Great job, JARVIS!" Hill exclaimed, relief washing over her. "Now let's get moving!"
With the turrets disabled, the team surged forward, pushing through the remaining HYDRA agents guarding the path to the cells. As they reached the door, Fury quickly scanned the area. "We need to free Jessica and Petra before it's too late."
However, unbeknownst to them, Viper had already executed her plan. She and her HYDRA guards had swiftly moved Jessica, Petra, and Aunt May to a different secure location, leaving the cells empty and the Avengers unaware of the imminent danger.
As the Avengers reached the cells, they were met with the grim sight of the empty space. "They're gone!" Scarlet Witch shouted, her heart sinking. "They must have moved them while we were fighting through the defenses!"
"Check the security footage, JARVIS!" Fury commanded, urgency in his voice. "We need to know where they've gone."
"Retrieving footage now," JARVIS responded. A moment later, the monitors flickered to life, displaying the last moments before the cells were vacated. The footage showed Viper leading the sisters and Aunt May away, flanked by guards, disappearing into a dark corridor.
"They're heading for the loading bay!" Hill exclaimed, pointing at the screen. "We have to hurry!"
"Let's move!" Fury ordered, rallying the team. The Avengers sprinted through the hallways, adrenaline pumping as they raced against the clock to catch up with Viper and rescue the kids and May.
As they navigated the complex, the stakes grew higher. The knowledge that Jessica, Petra, and Aunt May were in the hands of HYDRA sent a surge of determination through the team.
While Scarlet Spider and Spider-Man continued to hold their ground against Crossbones and the relentless wave of HYDRA agents. Although the counters had dulled their powers, they were far from helpless. Their training and instincts kicked in as they worked together, dodging blows and countering attacks with a mix of agility and smart tactics.
Just as they seemed to gain some momentum, Taskmaster entered the fray, his presence adding another layer of difficulty to the battle. Crossbones turned to him, his frustration palpable. "What are you doing here? I've got this handled!"
"Not anymore," Taskmaster replied coolly, assessing the situation. "The Baron can't wait. You're wasting time, Crossbones. They've already moved the other two Spiders and the woman for transport."
