As Viper reentered the dimly lit chamber where Baron Strucker stood seething with rage, she could feel the intensity of his anger radiating through the air. Everything they had meticulously planned had unraveled, and now the Spiders were free-beyond their reach.

Strucker turned to Viper, his eyes filled with fury. "This is your fault!" he snapped. "You said an alliance between the Spiders and S.H.I.E.L.D. was unlikely. Look at what has happened!" He pointed emphatically at the screen, which displayed the defeated forms of Crossbones and Taskmaster, lying incapacitated at the hands of the Spiders, his frustration boiling over. "Not only have S.H.I.E.L.D. and the Spiders joined forces, but they've even allied with the Avengers!"

Viper maintained her composure, refusing to let his anger intimidate her. "Calm down, Strucker. Even if the Spiders are free, they won't be truly free. They carry the burden of their past with them."

Strucker's brow furrowed as he considered her words. "What do you mean?" he demanded, his curiosity piqued.

Viper smirked, knowing the weight of what she was implying. "The drive contains all their missions and assassinations while under HYDRA's control. That information will haunt them, and it can be used against them when the time is right."

Strucker's expression shifted from anger to intrigue, contemplating the potential leverage this could provide. "Interesting. We need to keep an eye on that. But for now, we have more pressing matters to attend to."

"Exactly," Viper agreed. "We need to retreat. Crossbones and Taskmaster have been defeated, and staying here puts us at risk."

Strucker took a moment to gather himself, assessing the situation. "Is the jet ready for extraction? The one that was supposed to transport the Spiders and their Aunt May to the alternate secure HYDRA base?"

"Yes, it's prepped and waiting," Viper confirmed, her voice steady. "Our extraction team will lead us to the hangar for a swift escape."

"Good," Strucker replied, his tone regaining its authoritative edge. "We can regroup and rethink our strategy. This setback won't be the end of us."

As they made their way through the hidden corridors, Viper couldn't shake the nagging feeling that the Spiders would remain a persistent threat. But for now, retreat was their best option. They would regroup, gather their resources, and plot their next move against the Spiders and their new allies. The game was far from over, and Viper was determined to regain control of the situation and turn the tide in their favor once again.

With the siblings finally reunited, a palpable sense of relief washed over them. The weight of their past was heavy, but now it was time to break free from HYDRA once and for all. As the Spiders regrouped with the Avengers, Nick Fury, Maria Hill, and the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, an air of triumph filled the room.

"We've defeated Crossbones and Taskmaster!" Jessica announced, her voice ringing with pride.

The room fell silent for a moment, shock evident on the faces of the Avengers and S.H.I.E.L.D. personnel. "You took down both of them?" Fury asked, raising an eyebrow in disbelief.

"How did Crossbones escape the tower and make it here before us?" Hill questioned, her curiosity piqued.

The Spiders exchanged glances, shrugging slightly. "We actually don't know," Petra admitted, still feeling the adrenaline from the battle. "We'll have to figure that out later."
