Thursday. The days were blurring together, and time seemed to be flying by. Tomorrow was the big day – contract signing! I was beyond excited but also ridiculously nervous.
Sitting in my studio, I stared blankly at my work, unable to focus. Elena, Eryx, Ethan... everything swirled in my head. I glanced at my watch; 10:30 already!
I needed a break. Grabbing my phone, I opened our group chat.
"Food at Crave Café is awesome. How about lunch there today?"
Liv responded instantly. "Always ready for food!"
Me: "Soph?"
No answer.
Liv jumped in. "Wait, I'll call!"
I reacted with a thumb-up emoji. A few minutes later, Soph joined the conversation and agreed.

As I waited for the girls at Crave Café, my phone buzzed. Ethan.
"I want to talk!"
I rolled my eyes. What now?
I ignored the message, but my phone started ringing. Ethan again.
Sighing, I texted him. "What?"
"Need to talk!" he replied.
"Im busy!" I shot back, tossing my phone on the table.
Just then, Liv and Soph walked in. "There!" one of them said, smiling.
Ethan texted again, but I ignored him. Not today.
Lunch with the girls was just what I needed. We laughed, caught up, and for a brief moment, I forgot about Ethan's drama and tomorrow's pressure.
As we parted ways, I felt revitalized, ready to tackle whatever came next.

I lay in bed, staring at the ceiling as tomorrow's schedule replayed in my head.
"Tomorrow's the big day!" I exclaimed, tossing my pillow into the air.
My baby, Ethereal Dream, was going to shine at Elite Fashion House.
Elena believes in me, and I won't let her down.
Suddenly, doubts crept in.
What if I trip on the way there or spill coffee on my dress?
I shook my head.
Nope, not thinking about that!
I've poured my heart and soul into this.
My fashion dreams take flight tomorrow!
Excitement bubbled up.
Breathe, Addie, breathe!
I giggled, feeling a bit silly.
Time to sleep, tomorrow's going to be epic!

I stood outside Elite Fashion House, Downtown Manhattan, taking a deep breath. My heart raced with anticipation.
My tailored black pantsuit hugged my curves perfectly, but my confidence wavered.
I glanced at my phone, scanning last-minute texts.
Liv and Soph's messages flooded my screen, filled with encouragement.
My parents chimed in, their love and support warming my heart.
Emily, my sister, sent a heartfelt message.
