Eryx.

I stood before Vector and Lena, both tied to chairs, their wrists and ankles secured with thick rope. Vector's face was pale, his eyes sunken from the beating he'd taken. Lena's eyes flashed with anger, but she remained silent.

"I'm here to inform you that it's over," I said, my voice firm. "By the end of today, Marcus Blackwell's entire operation will be dismantled. You'll both be held accountable for your crimes."

Vector's gaze flickered towards me, a faint glimmer of hatred in his eyes. Lena's expression remained defiant, but I saw a flicker of fear behind her eyes.

"You'll never take him down," Vector spat, his voice weak.

I smiled, a cold glint in my eye. "We already have. You're just the last pieces of a puzzle that's already been solved."

Lena's gaze locked onto mine, a spark of fear igniting within them. She knew her father's empire was crumbling.

I turned to leave, my mind already focused on the task ahead.

"Let's get to work," I said to my team, gathered outside the interrogation room. "We have a raid to plan."

My team nodded, their faces set with determination. I led them to the briefing room, where we would finalize our plan to take down Marcus Blackwell.

I stood at the front of the briefing room, surveying my team. Reno, Asher, Ryker, and the rest of the squad were all seated, their eyes fixed on me.

"Alright, team, let's review the plan," I said, glancing around the room. "We have enough evidence to arrest Marcus Blackwell. We'll be serving him with a warrant and taking him into custody."

I clicked a button, and the screen behind me flickered to life, displaying a photo of Blackwell.

"Reno, you're with me, we'll be serving the warrant and taking Blackwell into custody."

"Asher, you're on perimeter security, make sure we've got the building locked down."

"Ryker, I need you to hack into Blackwell's security system, disable any cameras and alarms, and get us eyes on the interior of the building."

"Lena and Vector are already in custody, so let's keep them secure and out of the way."

"Everyone clear on their duties?" I asked, scanning the room.

The team nodded, their faces set with determination. We were ready to bring Marcus Blackwell to justice.

We arrived at Blackwell's office building, a sleek and modern high-rise in the heart of the city. Ryker worked his magic, hacking into the security system and disabling the cameras and alarms.

"Asher, take point," I whispered, nodding to the entrance.

Asher moved forward, his gun drawn, and pushed open the door. We flowed in behind him, moving swiftly and silently through the lobby.

Reno and I made our way to the elevators, Ryker's voice coming through our earpieces. "Eryx, I've got the elevator security feeds looped. You've got a clear ride to the top."

The elevator doors slid open, and we stepped out into the penthouse suite. Blackwell's assistant, a poised and polished woman, looked up from her desk.

"Where is Marcus Blackwell?" I demanded, my gun still drawn.

The assistant's eyes widened. "I-I don't know. He wasn't here when I arrived this morning."

I nodded to Reno, and we began to search the office. But it was clear that Blackwell was long gone.
