Your friends told you Sasuke liked girls with long hair. You cut your hair short. You heard Sasuke didn't like sweets. All you ate were sweets. Anything Sasuke didn't like, you made yourself love. Anything Sasuke did like, you forced yourself to hate. That was just your routine. All the girls wanted nothing more than for Sasuke to love them, but you always felt the exact opposite. You wanted him to hate you.  To find you repulsive. For you to be the last girl he'd ever consider. Nowadays, you've mellowed out some. You've grown your hair out again and you've stopped trying to repel him. Mostly because he left the village, but that's beside the point.
"Good morning, Naruto!" you say as you walk past him.
You've been friends since your academy days.
"Morning, Y/N! I was actually looking for you." He hops from one foot to another, never able to hold still longer than two seconds at most.
"Hm? What's up?"
"Granny Tsunade is lookin' for you.'"
"Okay, thanks."
You move towards the Hokage building as fast as you can. It looks like you have a mission. Continuing on your trip, you wonder on what it could be. Hopefully it'll be fun.
You knock on the office door. Once given permission. you step inside and bow.
"You rrquested me, Milady?"
"Yes, I have a mission for you."
"Of course. What is it?"
"I'm sending a team in to investigate what may be Orochimaru's hideout. I want you to go as backup."
You inwardly cringe. Wherever Orochimaru is, Sasuke is. And you have no intention of seeing him again. Not after last time. Despite your hard work to make him hate you, his finals words towards you said they had quite the opposite effect. You had been on a late night stroll, having snuck out of the house again. You came across an unconscious Sakura on a bench, which had you cringing-you never liked her. But, being the good person you were, you woke her up and sent her home. You continued on your you walk. At some point, you got distracted -by what, you can't remember-and bumped into someone. When you looked up, it was, ironically, Sasuke. "Y/N." he said in that nonchalant, condescending voice you've always hated, "What are you doing out this late?"
"Considering you're also out this late, you really don't have the right to ask me that."
"I'm leaving."
"Au revoir."
"For good. As in, I might not be coming back."
"Okay? And I should care why?"
"You really care for me that little?"
"You wanna screw up your future by going rogue, then that's your problem, not mine. Just remember that the Leaf was your home and remember all the people who have loved you."
"I'm renouncing this village."
"Then I truly have no reason to care for you. Goodbye, Sasuke."
You started walking away. After a few steps, however, you were pinned to a tree. In front of you were two Sharingon, staring at you so coldly you could almost freeze.
"Don't expect to stay in this village much longer." whispered Sasuke against your ear.
"And why wouldn't I be staying here?"
He placed his lips on yours, which almost had you gagging. Was this really happening? Were you really kissing Sasuke Uchiha? No. He was kissing you. You did not kiss back. Instead, you pushed him off of you and wiped your mouth.
"If you think," you said, still grimacing. "that I'll come find you someday, or you'll come take me away or whatever delulu, then come back to reality. I have, and always will, hate you."
"And who says you'll have much choice? Truth is, the next time you see me, I be much, much stronger than I am now."
"And so will I. I don't fear you or the future."
"How naïve."
After that, you blacked out. The next day, you awoke in your bed. At first, you thought that maybe it was just a really bad dream, but there was a note in your pocket saying otherwise.
See you soon, princess.
Remembering that night, you shudder slightly. You'd hoped to forget it and you did, for a little awhile. But, now that you've been reminded, there's no doubt you shouldn't go on this mission. If you don't, though, wouldn't you just look like a coward? Which is more important, your pride or your safety?
"Something wrong?" asks the Senju.
"No- I mean, yes I mean- it's just complicated."
"Explain."
You go on to tell her all the things you kept secret for two whole years. While you speak, Tsunade listens quietly.
When you finish, she says, "So this is both a matter of pride and safety."
"Yes. Since that note, I've heard nothing from him. I'd like to think he's forgotten about me." "That's some wishful thinking right there."
"I'm aware."
"The decision is yours, Y/N. Do what you think is best."
"I'll go. I refuse to run away."
"Then I wish you luck. Be careful."
"Yes, Milady."

"You said," Sasuke starts, eyes sadistic as he drives a lightning-coated blade through your shoulder. "That I wouldn't be taking you from the Leaf. But here you are, having sought me out yourself."
"Don't be so full of yourself." You grab his blade with your bare hands, keeping him from burying it deeper into your tissue.
"Sasuke!!" Naruto goes to charge at the Uchiha, but is met with a Chidori through the side. "Naruto!!" You push the sword out and fall to your knees beside your friend. "Hey, stay awake, Don't close your eyes. We- we're gonna take you to see Granny Tsunade and she'll fix you right up-"
"Come with me." Sasuke says as he forces you to your feet. "And nobody else has to get hurt." Captain Yamato shouts, "Don't be rash! We'll be fine!"
You look at all your injured teammates. None of them can even stand in their conditions. Sasuke could easily kill them all. You couldn't protect them, even if you tried. But you can do this. With one decision, you can save your team.
Still in Sasuke's grasp, you tilt your chin up to keep some dignity. "Very well. I'm all yours, Sasuke."
They all shout at you not to go; but you keep your head held high as you avoid their pleading gazes.
"This is my choice. Everything on my future shall be my decision, I will live with it. I will keep my dignity and not fight, but I will not show hopelessness, either. He will not find the satisfaction he craves."
Rough as ever, he drags you into the base. You push all thoughts of Konoha from your mind. You may never see it again, but you refuse to feel sorry for yourself. You remind yourself, This is my choice.
He shoves you into a room. You fall against a bedpost, hitting your injured shoulder. Hissing in pain, you curse under your breath.
"I was going to wait." he says, pulling you to your feet. "I wanted to get my revenge first. But this was too perfect an opportunity."
"You know me." Despite how hard you try, you can't make the pain in your voice. "I live to please."
He pushes you onto the bed. "As you said earlier. You're all mine. Your only purpose is for me, do you understand? What I say goes, and there will be no arguing."
"Oh, darn. I just love to argue."
"Do you ever shut up?"
"You're the one that wanted me so bad."
He snarls. "Shut up."
"Yes, Master Sasu-"
Crashing his lips onto yours, Sasuke pins you onto your back as he climbs on top of you. He shoves his tongue into your mouth, sending your mind into all kinds of directions. You don't want this. You hate him. He's an enemy to the Leaf. But his touch feel better than you could have ever expected. Part of you wants more. There's a piece of you saying to give in to the pleasure. But you don't. Choosing to be sensible, you force your eyes shut as you just let it happen. You let your mind wander off to other, better realities. Ones where you're at home, with C/N (crush's name), A world where Sasuke doesn't exist and you are free.

"Get up, idiot." Sasuke pokes your cheek with his sword.
"Why should I? Aren't you supposed to be training with the old snake?"
"He's dead. I killed him."
Sitting up, you grumble, "Of course, you did. The one morning I'm actually sleeping, you decide we're leaving. I don't know why I thought I could sleep."
"Stop your whining."
"How about you carry me on your back while we travel? That way I can get a couple more hours."
"No."
"C'mon, Sasuke! I'm sleepy-"
"I'll carry you, gorgeous."
A boy with white hair and purple eyes pop on. "A lady should never-"
"Quiet, Suigetsu. If you so much as look at her too long. you're dead."
He takes you by the hips and throws you over his shoulder.
"I can't sleep like this!"
"That's too bad."
"You suck."
"You two aren't gonna be all lovey-dovey, are you?" asks Suigetsu. "'Cus that's just gross."
Just as Sasuke starts walking, you reply, "We never are. Sasuke isn't into that stuff and I hate him."
"Well that's a healthy relationship."
Rolling your eyes, you say sarcastically, "Totally."
"Shut up, Y/N." Sasuke gives your hips a squeeze.
"Hey, it's true. This is a real crappy relationship."
"If you didn't hate me, it could be better."
"Don't put the blame on me. You're abusive."
"If you don't start playing along I'll show you abusive."
"What do you want from me, Sasuke? To act as if I actually like you? I do as told. Isn't that enough?"
"It's not when you give me this annoying attitude of yours."
'Yes, how dare I be myself. Even if I did like you, it wouldn't be any different. I could never show affection to my captor."
"How about this? If you don't, I'll kill C/N."
"Of course, love."
Later, the three of you make camp. You're to share a sleeping bag with Sasuke, to which you pretty much assumed hours ago. As you sit on the ground, you watch the boys get everything set up. You dread everything. Your future. Sasuke's revenge. Suigetsu's endless teasing that you're sure will last the rest of your life. Just all that lies ahead.
When finished with all his tasks, Sasuke climbs into the sleeping bag with you. He looks at you expectantly, and you recall the conversation from earlier. Using all of your strength, you lean in and kiss his lips. Then his cheek. Then the underside of his jaw. Sasuke brings his hand up to caress your cheek-this may just be the gentlest touch you've ever received from him.
In a quiet whisper, he says loud enough for only you to hear, "I love you."
Then he dives back in for your lips. At first, you're surprised. He's never admitted it. Sure, you guessed that he loved you in some strange, deranged way. But you never thought he'd say it. Pouring every ounce of your willpower into it, you lie and say against his mouth, "I love you, too."
A/N: Here it is! The hardest thing I've ever written! I absolutely loathe Sasuke with my entire being, but took it as challenge. So, this is for all the weirdos who actually like this childish, arrogant, ungrateful, jerk wad! Y'all better appreciate it!
