Petting (Ghose)

Tamaki was having a long day at work. When you called your boyfriend around his lunch time to just chat about his day, he is sounding more down than usual. So, you decided to go to his house, you have a key, and have a nice dinner waiting for him.

You made all his favorites. As you were cooking, you hear the front door open.

Tamaki calls out, "H-h-hello? Who's there?"

You come out from the kitchen, "It's just me elf boy. I'm making dinner. Go take a shower and change into something comfortable. It'll be done by then."

You kiss his cheek and head back into the kitchen. Tamaki sighs happily. Finally, something good today. He wanted to see his love after the day he had but he was afraid she was busy, so he didn't ask. But to his surprise and pleasure she was there.

When he was done, he found you bringing out the food. He went to help you, but you refused.

You pointed at a seat, "You sit. I'm going to take care of my love."

He blushes and sits. He watches you and thinks he's so lucky. He can't figure out how he got so lucky to have such caring and loving girlfriend who is also beautiful. To him, you are the most beautiful girl in the world.

Once done, you sat down next to him with a huge bowl of rice. He was confused because there was only one bowl.

You grabbed chopsticks and picked up a bit of food, then held it up to him.

He blushes, "Butterfly, what are you doing?"

You smile, "I'm taking care of my baby. Now open."

Tamaki reluctantly opens his mouth. You feed him a lot of food. During the exchange, you hear something. You weren't sure what. You tried to focus on the sound while you fed Tamaki. Then it hits you. Tamaki is purring. It's a low sound but that's exactly what it is.

Looking at him, his eyes were closed, and he was happily chewing the food with a blush all the way up to his ears. It was the most adorable thing ever.

You kept quiet and just fed him. You didn't want to interrupt. He just seemed so happy and relaxed.

At one point, you couldn't stop yourself. You placed your hand on his head and started petting him. He purred more and leaned into your hand. That only lasted about a minute when he realized what was happening.

He jumped up, embarrassed, "I'm sorry. I don't know - "

You hug him, "Don't you dare apologize. That was the most adorable thing ever. I'm sorry if I crossed a boundary. I couldn't help it."

You look down. You felt bad.

Tamaki hugs you back, "No. No. I'm s-s-sorry butterfly. I was embarrassed."

You pulled back, "Why?"

He puts his face in your neck, "Because I was I was purring like a c-c-cat."

You giggle, "Awe. Is my little kitten shy about it? You don't have to be. I'm happy you were happy after such a day. I thought I crossed a line when I was petting you."

He leans back a little, "No. I-I-I liked it. Ummm Could you maybe.... I mean if you don't mind. Would you pet me some more?"

You smile and nod. You stand up and take his hand, leading him to the couch. You sat down on one end and patted you lap. He laid across the couch with his head in your lap. You continued to pat his head. He closed his eyes and purred in bliss.

You cooed at the sight. You were happy he was finally relaxing. Well, that and to be able to witness this sight.
