Sick (Ghost)

This is it. You were on death's door. Not really. You were just sick, and you were being overly dramatic. You had a fever, headache, stomach-ache, and the chills.

Currently you were in bed, wrapped up in a blanket with a trash can next to you. Your Mom was taking care of you.

While laying there, you phone went off. Looking at the caller ID, you see it's Kiyoko.

You answer, "Hey Kiyoko."

Kiyoko responds, "F/N, where are you? The match is about to start."

"I'm so sorry. I forgot to call. I'm really sick so I can't make it."

"Oh. That's ok. Yachi is here. We will manage."

You hear yelling the background. Next thing you know, a male voice is on the phone. You recognize it as Tanaka.

Tanaka yells, "F/N, ARE YOU OK? DID SOMEONE HURT YOU? ARE YOU KIDNAPPED?"

You wince at his volume, "No Tanaka. I'm just home sick."

You hear him yell to someone else, "She's sick. Maybe we should cancel and take care of her."

Kiyoko is back on the phone, "Sorry. I will take care of everything here. You get better ok."

"Thank you. Good luck with the guys."

Saying your goodbyes, you went back to sleep. You woke up a little later because you felt someone cuddling you. You open one eye and see Sugawara holding you while you were in a blanket burrito.

You smile at him, "What are you doing here?"

He returns your smile, "I heard you were sick. We finished the game, and I came right over to check on you. Your mom went to the store to get more soup, so I stayed to take care of you."

"You are such a sweet friend."

He frowns at the statement which causes you to frown.

You ask, "Why are you frowning?"

He sighs, "I'm sorry. This isn't how I wanted to tell you. You know with being sick and all but, I don't want to be your friend."

You tear up," What?"

He goes wide eyed, "Wait. I wasn't finished. I would like to be your boyfriend. I'm sorry. I just wasn't happy with you calling me a friend."

It's now your turn to go wide eyed, "What?"

"I like you. Please be my girlfriend."

You grin ear to ear, "Yes. Yes. Yes."

He laughs and hugs you to him, "I will treat you like a queen."

Even though you were sick, you could say this was the best day ever.
