Nightshade and Delta soared over the Mud Kingdom, stopping for rests along the way. One night, around the campfire, Nightshade asked about Delta's sibs. She had gotten better at using the impolite language Delta used.
Delta answered, "My sibs were my best friends. Gator had a dream of being a general, and he was always training. Frog was always joking, and was about to go in the army. His twin, Hippo, also was a jokester, and always made us laugh." Delta stared at the fire for a second, before starting on her sisters.
"Doe and Panther. How to describe them? Well... Doe liked to skulk around in the shadows. She was always spying on Mother. And Panther... She was the one who we all knew was going to be Queen. She was our bigwings-" Delta let out a sob, then continued. "She was going to be a great Queen." The princess paused for a second, then put her head down. "Good night, Nightshade."
"Good night, Delta..." Nightshade threw some dirt on the fire, then went to sleep as well, waiting for morning to come.

Nightshade opened her mouth to yawn. She tapped Delta on the shoulder.
"Wake up! I think we're only a day away from the Sea Kingdom!" Delta groaned then stood up. "You ready to go?"
"Ugh. Fine let's go." Delta flapped her wings and burst into the air. Nightshade followed close behind.
They flew over the yawning swamps, slowly turning into even murkier swamps, which eventually turned into wide lakes that dotted the land.
Nightshade turned her head back to Delta. "I think we're almost there!"
Delta nodded. "Let me check the letter and see if the SeaWing said where the cave was." She fished the scroll out of one of her pouches. "Nope, nothing."
Nightshade sighed. "Well, how many caves could there be? Maybe we should go to the Summer Palace and see what Queen Azurite knows about them." She veered to the left, towards a small island. This is the last piece of land between us and the Bay of A Thousand Scales."
Delta nodded. "Let's go then." They flew towards the island, hoping to make camp. As Delta's talons touched the ground, a huge SeaWing burst out of the ground.
"INTRUDERS! Bull Shark! Hurricane! Reef! GET OUT NOW!!!" Three more huge SeaWings burst out of the previously still water.
"What is it, Fisalia? Is it just a little group of MudWings again?" The dark blue dragon known as Fisalia snapped her head at the SeaWing.
"They're intruders, Hurricane! We have to take them to Queen Azurite!" She turned around and bared her teeth at Nightshade and Delta. Nightshade turned a dark teal color, and the SeaWing noticed. "Ah, it's not a group of MudWings, it's RainWings! We should take the two of them to Azulite." A light blue SeaWing made her way out of the sea, and trotted over to Delta.
"Fisalia, this doesn't look like a RainWing! She looks more like a MudWing."
Fisalia shook her head. "Why would there be a RainWing and MudWing together? And that one looks like a high-born anyway. There's no way she would work with a lowly, lazy RainWing!"
Nightshade bared her teeth. She turned a violent shade of red. "RainWings are neither lowly, nor weak! We are the strongest tribe in Pyyhria! Me and my companion don't even have to notice dragons like you!" The RainWing slammed her wings down to go into the air, but a dark purple talon held her back.
"Oh no, you're not going anywhere. If what you say is true, you're going straight to Queen Azurite." This was either Bull Shark or Reef. Nightshade decided to take a guess.
"Bull Shark," Her tone was smooth, entrancing even. "You wouldn't need to take a lowly RainWing to the Queen right? She would get mad at you for wasting her time. Just let us go, and we'll be on our way."
The indigo dragon's talons tightened. "My name is Reef. And you are going, not home, but to the dungeon until we know what to do with you. The Kingdom Of The Sea is proud to have the least intruders of any other kingdom. And we wouldn't want that changed would we?" The dragon nodded to Fisalia and Hurricane. And Bull Shark I guess. Delta had already been tied up.
Fisalia glanced over at Reef. "Get the RainWing ready to go." She sighed. "I guess we'll have to fly instead of swim. A sack went over Nightshade's head, and a sharp crack on her head sent her into unconsciousness.
