4006 years since the Scorching-

Queen Anaconda chuckled to herself, holding a warm bowl of mushroom soup. She had planned out the new assassin training perfectly, and it was going fabulously. The time taken to train each recruit was down 10%!

Suddenly, her daughter Jacaranda burst into the room. "Mother! Nightshade wanted me to tell you that she wants you to tell a speech!" Anaconda stiffened, she hated Nightshade. She was the leader of the assassins. She had an over-sized ego, and would do whatever it took to get power. Much like myself actually. Anaconda thought to herself.

Anaconda grabbed her shiniest necklace, stolen from the old IceWing general, Neptune. One of her favorite assassins had gotten her that necklace. What was his name again? Oh well. She added to her collection; horn rings from the SandWing treasury, a few rings on her talons from the ruins of the Island Palace of the SeaWings, and to top it off, an earring, found nearby nestled in a bird's nest. Anaconda sauntered out to the landing platform and flapped her wings.

As she flew over the RainWing Kingdom, she thought about a few renovations. Maybe we could expand a bit through the Mud Kingdom. No, nobody wants mud on their scales. She shivered, thinking of the cold mud that had almost drowned her when she was fighting in the Mud Kingdom.

"Mother! This way!" Jacaranda screeched, pointing to a dark and gloomy part of the forest. The Queen started wondering, Why would a speech be in such a strange place? She landed in the glade, and suddenly, hundreds of dragons began to appear around her.

"What? What is this?" She whispered, under her breath. She must have been louder than she thought because when she looked up, Anaconda was beating her wings.

"This is a challenge, Mother. A challenge for the throne of the RainWings!" Jacaranda yelled the last sentence, and the RainWings gathered in the circle cheered.

"Traitors! All of you!" Anaconda screamed. "How dare you even gather here! Jacaranda has done nothing to even prove herself worthy of being the lowest page! How could she be Queen!" Anaconda started to beat her wings to fly up, but Jacaranda stopped her.

"I'm sorry, Mother, but this is in the best interest of the RainWings." Jacaranda slashed at her mother, and the RainWings cheered as the battle began.

They had no idea how their lives would change, and not for the better.
