Author's POV Aditi stands awkwardly in the middle of the party, sipping on her drink as she watches Kavya and Kartik's family members mingle and chat.
She was with Kavya at her engagement party, the atmosphere is cheerful with music and laughter. Family and friends surround them, some are teasing Aditi.
Aditi's POV Why did I agree to come to this engagement party? My husband-to-be's brother is marrying my best friend. What a tangled web we weave.

Me- "Hehe... After all, meri best friend ki engagement hai... So of course, muze achha to dikhna hi tha."
Me- "well... Tum bhi kuchh kam khaas nhi dikh rahi ho... Soon to be Mrs. Aditya Ahuja."
Kavya- "I know, right ? Sab kuch itna jaldi ho gaya. Par Aditi, ab tu bhi jaldi se apne engagement ki tayyari kar." She teased me.
Me- "Haan, do mahine hi toh bache hain... London se waapas aana thoda challenging hoga." I laughed nervously.
Kavya- "Aditi, Don't you think, Tumhaare engagement ki demand toh ab badhti hi jaa rahi hai !"
Me- "Tum sab mere hi peeche kyu pade rehte ho hamesha....pata nhi kyu ?" I face palmed myself.
Kavya- "Well... Kartik is such a catch...! Bilkul film Wale hero ke tarah..." She chuckled.
Me- "Lagta hai Aditya Bhai ko batana padega ab...." I glared at her.
Kavya- "Sabhi logo ka kehna hai... Yaane, all the guests present here are saying... Ki tum dono ki jodi bohot achhi lagti hai."
Me- "Haan agar unka dhyan sirf tum par ho toh." I feigned annoyance.
Karan- "Bhabhi... Don't worry ! Jab tak aapka ye pyaara sa devar hai... You don't need anyone." He stepped in.
Kritika- "Ohh really ? And what about, Kartik jiju ?" She rolled her eyes sarcastically.
Karan- "Oyye... Bhabhi aur bhai ki engagement se pehle sabko prove krke dikhaana padega ki... What superstar I am !" He smirked.
Kritika- "Superstar ? Tum to toh pehle hi star ban gaye ho ! Ek minute ke liye tumhari chamak mujhe bhi chalo dikha hi dena..." She said playfully.
Karan- "Agar tumhe mere sath aana hai toh pilates karna padega, Kritika." He laughed.
Kritika- "Pilates ? Mujhe kyun karna hai ? Tumhi to humari family ka comedy show ho !" She mocked.
Me- "Guys, relax ! Yeh toh sirf shaadi hai..." I tried to change the topic.
Kavya- "Shaadi ho ya engagement, every thing will be memorable ! Aditi, jab tum London se aogi, hum milna nahi bhoolenge, sahi kaha na ?"
