A dimly lit street corner, a park bench sits under a solitary street lamp. The wind whispers through the leaves of a nearby tree, carrying the faint scent of night flower. Aditi, still in her party wear outfit, dressed on the bench, her face buried in her hands.

Aditi's POV
I sobbed softly, the tears tracing trails down my cheeks. I wiped my tears with the back of my hand. How did it come to this ? Why was I so helpless ? If Kartik hadn't shown up when he did...... I shudder to think what could have happened.

I took a deep breath, trying to steady myself. I never wanted to be the damsel in distress, Kartik...... I didn’t want you to feel like you had to save me. I don’t even know what I feel anymore. I thought I could handle it all, but today... it broke me.

If Kartik hadn't come when he did, I don’t know what would have happened. Akhilesh has always crossed the line, and now, his arrogance is becoming unbearable.

How could he think it’s okay to treat women like that? Poor Shikha… she was once like me..... full of dreams, only to have them shattered. But then Kartik… when he burst into that club with the police, I felt a rush of hope. Why did it matter so much to me ?

I stopped near a fountain, watching the water flow as i gathered my thoughts. Why didn't he tell me sooner ? If he had, maybe I wouldn't feel so lost right now.

A moment of silence as she gazes at the ground, lost in thought. She feels a presence beside her. Karan approaches her, concerned etched on his face.

Karan- "There you are, bhabhi....!"

Aditi turned around and forced a smile on her face, seeing him here and not wanting to show her emotions right now.

Aditi- "Hey, Karan..... I didn’t expect to see you here."

Karan- "Hum sabhi aapke liye bohot pareshan hai... After everything happened..."

Karan- "Bhabhi..... Aap.... Aap think hai na ?" Aditi took a deep breath.

Aditi- "I don't know. It all feels so surreal....."
