The bustling arrival terminal of the airport, filled with families and friends eagerly awaiting their loved ones. The atmosphere is vibrant, with the sound of laughter, chatter, and the occasional announcement echoing through the terminal. Aditi and her family stand excitedly among a crowd awaiting Kartik's arrival.

Aditi looks around anxiously, tapping her foot, her gaze fixed on the arrival gate.

Aditi- "I can't believe he's finally back ! It feels like I've been waiting forever since he left for Hyderabad....!" She said to Karan.

Karan- "It has only been a few weeks, Aditi bhabhi... But main samaz sakta hun, you have missed him." He grinned.

Neelam- "Ye toh sirf kuchh months ki baat thi, beta.... But I know how much you've missed him." She smiled.

Sanjay- "Just remember, he is still the same Kartik you fell in love with." He glanced at Aditi.

Rajveer- "And he is about to see how much you care...."

Aditi- "I hope so. I have been thinking a lot about what I want to say to him today."

Aditi nodded at him while saying this. Her excitement was palpable. Just then, the crowd parts as the passengers exit the terminal.

Aditi's heart leaps when she spots Kartik, looking handsome in a tailored suit, a bright smile on his face, walking alongside Jayashri beside him, who is practically attached to his arm, laughing and leaning a little too close to him.

Aditi- "There he is !" She whispered to Karan.

As soon as Kartik spotted Aditi there, his smile broadened, but Jayashri tugged closer at his sleeve, drawing his attention. Aditi's heart sank a little seeing them this closer.

Jayashri- "Oh, come on, Kartik ! You know we make a great team, don't you ?"

Kartik- "We really do, Jayashri."

Aditi's heart sank as she watched Kartik and Jayashri's interaction.

Jayashri- "Oh, Kartik... You simply tell me all about your trip ! I hope you missed me." She playfully said.

Kartik chuckled, he was clearly enjoying her attention. Aditi forced a smile, trying to hide her jealousy.

Kartik- "Main toh tumhare sath hi tha Naa... For kaisa miss karna."

Jayashri- "Haan, fir bhi..."

Daya- "Look at him ! He looks so happy to be back !" She beamed.

Aditi- "Yes, he does." She forced enthusiasm.

As Kartik approached them, his family joined them, and Aditi's heart raced. He then hugged Aditi. She embraced him tightly, but immediately noticed Jayashri sterling closer.

Kartik- "It is so good to see you !"

Aditi- "Welcome back, Kartik. How was everything in Hyderabad ?" She was slightly uncomfortable.

Kartik- "It was amazing ! We have made such great progress on the project ! You should see the office we set up !" He enthusiastically said.

Jayashri- "And the food ! Ohh, we had the most wonderful biryani. Isn't that right, Kartik ?"

She cut in between. Kartik nodded but his gaze flirted back to Aditi.
