Marie's POV
We are on Fall Break, today is training day with Shadow. Charles and I walk to the woods and start sparring with Shadow. We fight against him for hours. We both land a hit on him with our Chaos Spears. We look at each other with big smiles on our faces. We also hit him with our special powers.
He tells us that he was going easy on us. We spar against him again and he wins even though it was both of us fighting him together. He says. "Charles. Marie. You're both getting stronger with your powers. You guys are learning how to use your powers to protect yourself against people who may want to harm you." We smile. We stop our training for the day. We go out to Chik-fil-a. We eat hamburgers and waffle fries. We talked about what we've been up to. He tells us he's going to Rose's apartment to pray the Divine Mercy at 3:00 pm.
Shadow's POV
I ask. "Would you two like to join us?" They answer. "Sure. We'd love to pray with you two!" Marie asks. "Shadow wouldn't you rather pray with Amy by yourself?" I don't like it when other people call her Rose because it's my nickname for her. No one is allowed to use it except me. I love Amy so much. I remember when Maria was in an apron with cute slippers and asked me if I wanted to try some of her cookies. I avert my eyes and started to sweat drop because I'm nervous around her. I come back to the present and think about how I'm would die for Rose if a bullet was shot towards her. I don't want to loose another person I love again. I already lost Maria. It took me a long time to overcome my grief after Maria's death.
I reply. "I'm a little nervous around her, so you guys being there will help me not be nervous around her." I reply. "Okay that makes sense." I look at my watch. "It's 2:40 now, so let's start walking towards her apartment, guys." We arrive at her apartment at 2:58 pm. I knock on the door and she opens it. Her eyes widen in surprise when she sees the others. I say. "Rose, I thought it would be nice to have others join us today." She replies. " Ok, Shadow. You guys can come in." As we walk in I follow Amy into the kitchen. I muster up the courage to show how I feel about her. She turns around and I take her hand in mine. I chastely kiss her hand. She gasps in shock. She asks me. "What was that for, Shadow?" I reply. "Well this guy has fallen head over heels for you, my Rose." She smiles. She says. "This girl has fallen for you since I helped you remember your promise to Maria." I love this woman. We walk into the living room.
