VI. First Kiss

After the heartfelt confession, Jimin avoided Yoongi. He might be brave for doing it. But he was human too. He was embarrassed. Not for liking him, but for letting him know. He thought it was so easy to admit but now he swore it's okay if the earth swallowed him.

"Are you avoiding me?" Jimin was startled hearing Yoongi's voice. He was standing at the door of the bathroom. He was done brushing his teeth and was washing his face when he heard Yoongi's voice.

"Why would you confess and avoid me?" Yoongi asked.

"I wasn't avoiding you, hyung."

"Then what were you doing? You don't even talk to me now."

After he confessed, Jimin tried not to be near Yoongi. He knew Yoongi doesn't feel the same way he does. Off camera and work, he made sure he is always with JK and Tae or Hobi. A lot of times Yoongi approached him, but he slowly goes off.

In their recent interviews, the host asked who among the members they would date on Valentines Day Jk and Tae chose each other. Jin and Namjoon chose each other. When it was Yoongi's turned, he was looking at him but he chose Hobi.

Some of Yoonmin fans who were at the crowd went quiet. Jhope got out of his seat and walked towards Yoongi and told the audience he would choose Yoongi too.

He was startled for a momen. It's like somebody crushed his heart. Was it jealousy? He expected that Yoongi would choose him even if it's only for the camera and the fans.

"Since I have no more member to choose, I'm going to choose you Army. Then he went nearer to the stage and made a heart for the fans which the fans shouted " We love you, Park Jimin"

And SoPe broke the internet along with the hashtag, Yoonmin is dead all over Twitter. Fans of the new pairing started to upload pictures of Yoongi and Hobi. There were even videos of how close they really were.

"Then proved it." Yoongi said.

"Why is it bothering you, hyung, that I'm avoiding you? I'm embarrassed and stupid. It's already difficult that I like you and it's more difficult that you like Hobi hyung. I miss hanging out with you. I miss being near you. And I'm so stupid for telling you and more stupid for liking you. I'm jealous of Hobi yung. I'm sad that you like him. And I wish many times that you like me too but clearly you don't. So please don't make it a big deal that I'm avoiding you. So if i don't talk to you or come near you, could you please just let me be? You don't know how I feel. I promise I'm going to forget this feeling and move on so I can go back to my normal self and not avoid you."

Jimin swore he stuttered. He didn't even know if the words or sentences he said made sense or correct. And he was holding tight the toothpaste tube as if his life depends on it. And he is more hurt seeing Yoongi's reaction.

He was trying so hard not to laugh. Jimin was jealous. His face red and his narrow eyes has become narrower. He looked so cute and adorable. He couldn't help it anymore and burst out laughing.

How could he laugh at him? How could he laugh at how he feels? There is no unlucky human being than him. His first love is unrequited.

Fist love. He looked at Yoongi who was still laughing. Then he brushed the single tear that slipped his eye.

"You are more cute when you are jealous. And I'm glad you are."

Jimin pouted. When he could no longer hold his gaze, he bowed his head not wanting Yoongi to know how he was feeling. His eyes might betray him.

Yoongi slowly walked towards Jimin. He stood in front of him inches away. The scent of oranges wafted the air and his senses. The same scent he left in his studio.
