The morning sun filtered through the curtains, casting a warm glow across the room as Charlie and Vaggie lay together in the soft embrace of their bed. The air was still, peaceful, a stark contrast to the whirlwind of emotions from the night before. For the first time in weeks, there was no tension, no secrets—just the comforting presence of one another.

Charlie rested her head on Vaggie's chest, her arms wrapped gently around her waist. She could feel the steady rise and fall of Vaggie's breathing, the warmth of her body beneath her. It felt right, like they had found a new balance in the chaos of their lives.

"So..." Charlie began softly, breaking the comfortable silence, "have you thought about what we're going to name them?"

Vaggie smiled faintly, her fingers idly stroking Charlie's golden hair. "I've thought about it a little, but I didn't want to get too ahead of myself. I guess... I didn't want to feel too attached until I knew everything would be okay."

Charlie lifted her head, her eyes filled with warmth and reassurance. "Everything will be okay, Vaggie. We're going to get through this together."

Vaggie nodded, a soft sigh escaping her lips. "I know. It's just been a lot to process. But now that you know... I feel like we can finally start thinking about the future. About our baby."

Charlie grinned, the excitement bubbling up inside her. "Our baby," she echoed, the words still feeling surreal to her. "We need a name that's as beautiful as they'll be."

Vaggie chuckled softly, her hand drifting down to her stomach, where the new life was growing. "I've always liked the name 'Angelita.' It feels... fitting."

"Angelita," Charlie repeated, testing the name on her tongue. Her smile widened as the name settled in her heart. "It's perfect. Angelita—it means 'little angel,' doesn't it?"

Vaggie nodded, her smile softening. "Yeah. It feels right, doesn't it?"

"It does," Charlie agreed, her eyes sparkling with joy. "Our little Angelita. I love it."

The thought of their future daughter filled Charlie with a sense of wonder and anticipation. She could already imagine their life together, the moments they would share, the love they would give to their child. It was a dream she hadn't even realized she'd had, but now that it was within reach, she couldn't imagine anything more precious.

Vaggie's heart swelled with emotion as she watched Charlie's face light up with excitement. The fear she had carried for so long, the worry about how Charlie would react—it was all gone now, replaced by the certainty that they would face the future as partners, as a family.

"I can't believe this is happening," Vaggie whispered, her voice filled with awe. "We're going to be parents, Charlie."

Charlie laughed softly, leaning in to kiss Vaggie's forehead. "We are. And I can't wait to meet our little Angelita."

Vaggie closed her eyes, basking in the warmth of the moment. "Neither can I," she murmured, her hand resting protectively over her stomach. "I just hope I can be a good mother."

"You're going to be an amazing mother," Charlie said with conviction, her voice gentle but firm. "You've always taken care of me, guided me, kept me grounded. You have so much love to give, Vaggie. Our child is going to be so lucky to have you."

Vaggie's eyes shimmered with unshed tears as she leaned into Charlie's embrace. "And you," she whispered. "Angelita's going to have the best mom in the world."

Charlie smiled, her heart full as she pulled Vaggie closer, holding her tight. "We're going to be a team, Vaggie. The three of us."
