Shadow's POV:

I woke up early that morning, probably because my schedule was changed from babysitting Sonic that whole time.

I get out of my bed, heading down the steps, even Rouge was asleep. I made my way to the kitchen to grab my bag of coffee beans, eating them plain.
I thought back a couple days ago.

"Hey shads, I'm feeling pretty good y'know! Can we go outside-" "Hell no." I quickly replied knowing damn well that was a lie since he was throwing up for half the night. "But-"
"I said no, you're going to get worse." I said, "awe you care about me~" he said, "Shut the fuck up." I said irritated.

This hedgehog is annoying me with every damn second. "You can't deny it~" he teased more, "If you want to see another day I recommend you stop."
After I said that he stopped, "quick question, I don't mean to sound weird but can I touch your fluff again..?" He asked me, "Faker I swear to chaos if you get close to me-" I was cut off when he violated me anyway! Snuggling into my chest, "Get off!" I yelled, this hard-headed mother fucker did not listen to anything

I just gave up, I couldn't kill him yet, I don't want tails to blow the world up. "Stupid hedgehog." I said, he ignored me.
I don't know why but I began to purr, very quiet, hopefully faker can't hear that. I don't think I've ever purred before, so this was a little strange.

I felt my face heat up a bit, remembering how that ended up. I hear the steps creak, not wanting to turn my head knowing damn well if it was Rouge I'm definitely getting bombarded with questions. Just my luck, it was Rouge. "You're up early." She said a little confused, I heard her walking towards me to I hid my muzzle with a hand so hopefully didn't see. "Is something wrong..?" She said, the concern obvious in her tone.

"I'm fine." I said with slight annoyance in my tone, "Okay, if you say so edgy." She said butting me with her arm. "Enough with the stupid nickname!" I yelled at her as she walked to the kitchen, likely to make herself some coffee.
I just sit there munching on coffee beans, not having much more to do.

A/N POV:

Amy had gotten back from staying at Vanilla's for so long, and she planned on checking up on Sonic since the last time she seen him he was in a pretty bad condition.

She knocked on the door, Tails opening it and smiling. "Hey Amy!" He said letting her in.
"Hi tails!" She said smiling back, "I was wondering if I could visit Sonic, and stay a bit if possible?" She asked tails. "Well actually Sonic's not here right now since he's already better!" Tails told her, "That's good, glad to know he's okay!" She said cheerfully.

"Oh Amy, want to see something that Sonic doesn't know about..?" Tails snickered slyly, Amy looked a bit confused. "Sure!" She said as Tails pulled out his phone.

(It was the picture of them sleeping together on the chair)

Amy gasped, "Oh my chaos, now I got to make a fanfic!!" She said running out the door. Tails laughed and put his phone down, then thought about Rouge, who would definitely be thrilled about it!

Rouge gets a notification on her phone, Tails sent a photo to her. She opened the message, a squealed! It was the cutest thing ever!

Tails (message):
Don't let anyone find out it was me that took the photo or else I'm dead!

Rouge (message):
I'm still teasing Shadow about it now, he can't keep any secrets from me!

Rouge saved the photo and went out her room with a huge smirk on her face, walking towards Shadows room. She barged in, "So we're keeping secrets now huh?" She said. "What secrets bat." He said annoyed, she smirked sending him the photo. Shadow looked at it and blushed hard, "who took this?!" He yelled and got up.

"I did." She said covering up for Tails, Shadow got up and stormed off. Rouge didn't think he'd be that upset.

Shadow's POV:

How the fuck did she even get in? I'm sure Tails would have been way too busy. Never mind that I'm gonna go relax outside or something, since apparently I'll never escape in here!

I took off running towards the flower field, it was the one spot I could relax.

I got to the spot, not surprised to see faker already there. "Hey shads, are you okay?" He asked noticing my pissed expression. "I'm fine." I say, clearly not. "You sure? You look pretty upset-"
"I said I'm fine." I then chaos control to a branch high up on the tree. "Okay shads!" He says giving a thumbs up.

It was silent for a while, Faker giving me the space I needed. After I had calmed down I chaos controlled down and sat next to him, only to find him sleeping. "How did you even manage to sleep down here..?" I ask rhetorically, he was leaning on the tree sitting. I sigh, crossing my arms lightly.

I felt him move closer to me, leaning on my shoulder making me blush slightly. I stayed still, he would wake up if I moved too much. I closed my eyes leaning back on the tree as well, falling asleep.

I wake up feeling weight on me, opening my eyes to see sonic in between my legs leaning back on my chest fur, he was still asleep. I blush again, only more this time. I sigh and look around noticing it was gonna be sunset soon. So I pull out my phone snapping a little selfie of me and him, then putting it away.

"Faker, wake up." I say, shaking him which did nothing. "Faker." I say again, he was still sleeping. I groan and pick him up bridal style and carry him back to his house.
