Sonic's POV:

I wake up, smelling nothing but lavender and feeling warmth. I open my eyes, I was confused at first since it must have been early. I then realized,  I was cuddling Shadow! I blushed deeply, I was purring as well?! I just have to hope I can get out of this mess before Shadow wakes up, he might kill me! But my side hurts, and for some reason I don't want to get up.

I try to get up, but Shadow gripped onto me tighter. He started to purr, there was no way out of this now. I just accepted my fate, and cuddled back with Shadow. He looked so peaceful when his eyes were softer, it's nice. He's the complete opposite of how he acts, I'm sure.

He's so fluffy, so soft and comforting! He smelled like lavender, it was honestly addicting. I sound obsessed, but he looks so cute! His ears were fluffy too, how come I'm only noticing this now? I began moving closer to him, and snuggled his chest fur. He purred more and held me closer, making me blush again.

Slowly I wrap my arms around him, he didn't wake up luckily. I felt myself purr, I didn't expect it. I have no idea why I'm enjoying this so much, I mean it's Shadow! But then again it's Shadow.

Rouges POV:

I wake up, Tails wasn't on his mattress so I'm guessing he's downstairs or something. I go to Shadows room to make sure he didn't kill Sonic, or his boyfriend whatever you can even call them by this point.

Tails was down the steps, I could see him from up the steps. I went past to Shadows room. I quietly open the door, I'll never regret this decision. Sonic and Shadow were cuddling, accept I think they were both asleep. Quickly I pulled out my phone snapping a few photos to tease Shadow later, perfect.

I close the door and head down the steps, Tails greeting me with a smile as he ate some cereal. I don't know where he got the cereal from cause neither me or Shadow would eat that shit.  "Morning Rouge!" He says smiling, such an innocent kid. "Morning sweetie." I reply to him, he takes a bite of his cereal again.

"Check this out." I say handing him my phone with the photo of the two lovers, he snickered handing it back to me. "You should send me that!" He suggested, I nodded.

Shadows POV:

I wake up, I felt something on me, quickly opening my eyes I see sonic buried in my chest. I blush, 'What is his obsession with my chest fur?'  I think to myself. Whatever, it was just cute to see him like this. I lightly stroke his quills, he began to purr lightly, who would have guessed this could even make him purr?

I check his bandages, they were pretty bloody and needed to be changed. I don't want to wake him up though, he looks comfortable. I sigh, and shake him lightly. "Faker, wake up." I say, he groaned. "Five more minutes.." He said half sleep, "Faker." I say. He actually woken up this time, he seemed embarrassed. "Oh, good morning shads..!" He said in a nervous tone.

"Morning." I replied dully, he smirked and moved away. He seemed to regret it when his side clearly began to sting, making him hiss. "I need to change your bandages." I say to him, he nodded. I get up and help him sit up grabbing the medical kit next to him. I began to unwrap his blood drenched bandages, "Thanks shads!" He said which made a small smile form onto my lips.

I began to clean off the wound, his dramatic ass acting like it was as bad as yesterday. I know it wasn't as bad as yesterday because his wound was pretty healed already. Once I had finished, I began to wrap more bandages around his wound. Sonic mumbled something incoherent, probably about random things irrelevant to the situation.

"There, now let's go." I say, he grabbed my shoulder for support. He was quiet, a little too quiet especially for him. "What's in your mind?" I ask him, he looked away avoiding the question. "We're not going until you answer my question." I say, crossing my arms. "You wouldn't understand.." he said, I looked at him, he's blushing?

"Spit it out." I say impatiently, he twiddled his thumbs, hesitating.

After around a minute he swallowed hard, he blushed a deep red, "S-so.. about yesterday," he began. "At the party before egg head came.." what is he even getting at..? "Uhm, when we were dancing.." he finished, oh shit he didn't mean.. "what about that?" I say trying to keep my poker face, too bad my face had other plans to make me turn pink.

"Can we..?" He asked, blushing more if that was even possible. Anyways, he really wants that kiss..? I completely forgot about that, the whole thing with Eggman was just so much. His ears fell, which made me feel bad as I snapped out of my thoughts. I blush, and cup his face with my hand.

"Yes, we can." I say as we both lean closer, our eyes closing.

"Time to wake up- oh.." I snap my head over to Rouge, who just barged in thinking we were still asleep. "ROUGE!" I yelled angrily and getting up, she ran out, I ran after her.
