Tails' POV:

Sonic wasn't home yet so I decided to make him his favorite food, chili dogs! I grabbed some ingredients from the fridge and hotdog buns, and began to make the chili dogs with extra jalapeños.

Sonic didn't come home till 7:00, which was a little late for him but I didn't question it. "Hey Sonic!" I said, "hey bud, how was your day?" He asked me. "It was great! I'm working on a new invention, which requires a certain chemical I call the Miles-boost!" I said proudly, "that's awesome!" He says smiling.

"Oh, and I made us some chili dogs!" I said, and saw him dash to the kitchen in a hurry. I chuckled and followed only to see him stuffing one into his mouth. "These are great!" He says with his mouth filled with food. "Thanks!" I say.

Rouges POV:

I was worried about shadow since I haven't seen him since this morning, I was ranting on to omega and knuckles about how frustrated I was before hearing the door open, immediately rushing over to it. "Shadow! Where have you been?!" I say shaking him really hard. He pushed me off, "I'm fine bat.." he said sounding really calm to my surprise, I knew something was up.

"I'll be back down soon! Shadow come with me right now." I said a bit sharp towards shadow. He sighed and followed me up the steps to his office, "what's up with you? You're never this calm!" I said suspiciously. "Nothing, just a normal day." He said rolling his eyes, not keeping eye contact. "Liar," I said, "so tell me everything."

I let him think for a second, before he finally admitted. "I was hanging out with sonic." He said looking away. "What?! I thought you hated him?!" I yelled confused, "he's.. not that bad." He said. "Oh, I would have never thought I'd hear you say that.." I said puzzled.. "were you brain washed..?" I asked him.

"No!" He growled, he stood up and walk out the door. "Okay edge lord!" I yelled from behind the door.

Shadow's POV:

Rouge pushed it, though I might give his friendship a chance. I mean faker does talk his ass off, but he's nice.

I walked toward my bedroom to call in a day, taking my shoes and gloves off.

I couldn't sleep, faker was stuck in my fucking head and I'm frustrated as hell. I'm too lazy to get back up but I can't sleep anyways so I'm tired and frustrated.

Sonic's POV:

Tails asked me to help with making this new chemical since it's a little dangerous to do alone, so I'm now in his lab handing him the ingredients needed for since he can't take his eye off it for the moment.

He told me to wear a mask, I didn't really care, and didn't listen. He asked me to hand him a certain powder, I think he did at least I couldn't really hear over all the bubbling.

I grab it and hand it to him, he quickly puts a little bit in the mixture. It began to bubble, and tails backed up, catching my attention. "Sonic I think it's about to blow..!" He said scared, "is your mask on-"

The mixture blew, creating a mist of chemicals in the lab. I should have wore my mask I think I breathed it in.

"Sonic we gotta get out of here!" He said lifting me up and flying out the laboratory shutting the door. I felt dizzy, and about to pass out. "Sonic? Are you okay..?" He said. "I donno I'm kinda.. very dizzy.." I said before collapsing, and blacking out.
