A/N's POV:

Everyone was busy getting ready for the party later that night, Sonic and Tails the most since they were the ones hosting it.

Except for Shadow, who didn't know if he should go or not. Rouge being like a sibling to him could easily tell something was up with him, her sisterly instincts kicking in.

"What's wrong with you?" She asked him, he didn't reply. "Does it have something to do with your boyfriend?" Rouge teased, "He's not my boyfriend!" He snapped. "Right, you going to the party later?" She asked him.

"I don't know." He said crossing his arms, "well too bad you're going anyway!" She smirked "Now go get ready, I'm pretty sure he'd be sad if you didn't go!" She said and left his room, Shadow groaned and got up.

Sonic and Tails went out to get party supplies, nothing alcoholic for drinks, since Cream and Tails were obviously going to be there. Grabs a few decorations too, plastic cups, and some mini speakers to play some music.

Amy was baking some sweets for the party, like cake, muffins, cookies, macarons, and donuts. Since she knew no one else would, besides it was her hobby.

Knuckles was attempting to look nice for Rouge, did I forget to mention they were dating? (oops)
Omega was kinda being his moral support so he wouldn't give up.

Rouge was being herself, looking as stunning as always. Even if so she was always in the bathroom for hours trying to make herself prettier.

And..
Shadow didn't know what to do, he just wanted to somewhat impress Sonic.

Rouges POV:

Shadows taking forever, longer than I would usually! "Shadow you're taking too long, hurry up we got less than 30 minutes till the party starts!" I yelled from down the steps, I could hear him groan. I sigh as I wait for him to finish so we could go, rather before Knuckles got here.

I hear his door shut, and him walking down the stairs. I see Shadow walking down the steps, and oh my god he actually tried to look nice. "Wow, really trying to impress blue~?" I tease him, he grumbled and sat down on the other side of the couch. He was in a tuxedo since we had to be fancy for the party, and his quills were neatly brushed.

"Stop judging me." He growled, I laughed. "Nothing wrong with you trying to make him smile hun, but it's good to know you'd do anything for him~" I teased more. "Shut up!!" He says crossing his arms yelling at me, then there was a knock on the door. "C'mon!" I say getting up to open the door, knuckles standing there looking hot as hell!

"Shall we go m'lady?" He said holding his hand out for me.

Shadows POV:

Ugh, I don't understand the pet names, it's just gross. "Yes we may." She said taking his hand. Great, now I'm third wheeling this shit. Knuckles opens the car door for Rouge before getting in himself, I just sit in the back in silence but I swear if they start flirting I'm gonna loose it.
