**Rohan and Priya's wedding took place with grand celebrations. Priya, is like she had gained everything she ever wanted. But Rohan, was lost in his own thoughts, as if he didn't truly want any of this, yet was going through with it anyway.**
❤️🔥-------Priya's POV-------❤️🔥
I proposed Rohan on his mother's birthday party and surprisingly he said yes
It was our honeymoon night. I was all dressed up in a stunning, royal red lehenga, looking radiant and regal. The room was beautifully decorated, filled with candles and a soft, soothing ambiance. Everything seemed perfect, almost like a dream. I sat in the center of the bed, waiting.
When Rohan entered, his eyes landed on me, but instead of admiration, his face was tense. Without saying a word, he angrily swept all the candles off the table with his hand, sending them crashing to the floor. Startled, I froze in fear.
Seeing Rohan so furious, My heart raced. My voice trembled as I asked,
"What happened, Rohan? Why are you so angry?"
"What is this, Priya?" Rohan's voice trembled as he held up my phone. "I didn't want to, but I searched for Sona's number on your phone. The night she left, you had a three-minute conversation with her. What did she say? Tell me."
Rohan," I said, trying to steady my voice. "She just told me, 'Priya, take care of Rohan.' Her voice was filled with frustration. I tried to stop her, but all she kept saying was, 'I can't bear any more pain, Priya. I don't love Rohan anymore. Take care of him.' That's it."
Rohan's voice cracked, his fists clenched as he shouted,
"Lie! You're lying, Priya!" His eyes were wild with anger, searching my face for any sign of the truth.
I swallowed hard, my heart racing. I had never seen him like this. "Rohan, calm down," I whispered, trying to steady my voice, but he cut me off.
"No! You think I don't know? The way she left, and now you're telling me all she said was to take care of me?" He shook his head, his voice trembling with frustration. "She loved me, Priya! She wouldn't just leave like that. What did she really say?"
"Rohan, please..." I started.
"Priya!" he yelled, his voice breaking, "Don't lie to me. I need to know....
"You were my best friend, the one I trusted more than anyone. I liked you for who you were, but now, look at what you've done. We're trapped in this fire that you've created, and it's going to kill both of us, you betray me every single time, and it's hurting like hell Priya."
"I never loved you, Priya. I only loved one girl throughout my life, and I will continue to love her until the very end. Now, you can live well with this meaningless relationship that has no future."
"You wanted this, didn't you? You've got what you always desired. You said it yourself, Rohan will be mine, and you will become a part of this family-play the role of a good daughter-in-law, maintain all the relationships. But remember, you can never truly be mine.
A relationship that began on paper will never find a place in my heart."
"Rohan, why are you saying this?" I cried, falling on my knees.
"What was my mistake? From childhood to adulthood, everyone said Rohan is yours. What did I do wrong by loving you? If I'm being punished, then everyone should be punished! Break all the relationships!" I looked up at Rohan, my eyes filled with tears and anger. "Why am I the only one suffering?"
"I'm the one suffering, Priya, I'm " Rohan said, and with that, he started walking out of the room.
"I still remember those days, Rohan," I said softly, my voice cracking with emotion.
"Back in school, when that girl tore up my drawings just because I was better at it then her... No one believed me because I was always the naughty one, always causing trouble, while she seemed so quiet and innocent. But you... you stood up for me. You fought with the teacher and tore all her drawings because I was crying and you said to them, 'Priya never lies.' We both got punished for it, but you didn't care. You were always there, by my side, in every problem."
I paused, wiping away the tear that had escaped.
"Where is that Rohan now?
The one who always had my back, the one who believed in me no matter what?"
"And I kept crying, in pain, but Rohan never looked my way and left."
In front of everyone, I was Rohan's wife, and in alone just noone.
There is not a single day when Rohan is not looking for Sona...he just eats, works, and searches for Sona it's his daily routine now who am I ...no one just no one ....
DAYS turned into MONTHS turned into YEARS..
"One day, overwhelmed and frustrated, I cried out in front of Rohan's photo, 'What was my mistake? It was that girl who came between us, right? You were always mine, so why did you look at someone else? If loving her wasn't wrong, then my love for you isn't either. I'll spend my entire life like this, but I won't let you go anywhere else.'"
Rohan, overhearing everything from outside, entered the room and said, "I'm not going anywhere. I'm not breaking my promise. You can live your life however you want. As for me, you have complete freedom."
I replied, "Freedom? What do you mean by that? Should I go out and do what I want, like you? Stay out all night and not come home? It's been two years since our wedding, Rohan-two years! And you haven't even touched me. You're satisfying your thirst outside, so you can treat me like an outsider and do whatever you want. At least that way, I won't be humiliated in front of my family. If I have to choose, I'd rather be loved out of lust than feel like this."
"It's better to satisfy your desires inside than to have them fulfilled outside, Rohan. At least then, I won't be humiliated."
"I've never touched another girl, Priya. It's always been Sona, and it'll always be Sona for me.
If you feel lonely, you have every right to find your happiness, to be with someone else... but not me. Never me." He said.
