❤️🔥------Sona's POV------- ❤️🔥
8 years back when I left Rohan all alone that night. I had no one to turn to, no friends, no family. That’s when I realized Rohan was the only person I had relied on for so long. I barely talked to anyone else.
Then I remembered Arjun—yes, Arjun. He had always been there for me, whenever no one else was. Without any selfish reason, he always stood by my side.
I called him and asked to meet at his place to figure things out.
He tried hard to convince me to go back to Rohan, but I didn’t want to bring more problems into Rohan’s life because of me. I had accepted that I was bad luck. Rohan kept doing everything for me, blindly, but I could only give him pain in return.
For weeks, I stayed at Arjun's place. Finding a job was tough, but Arjun helped me through it all. With his help, I got a call from one of his friend's companies in Canada. Arjun had told me that he was also planning to switch jobs and would move to Canada with me. He wanted to cheer me up, so he suggested we go out and celebrate.
When I reached the bar, I saw Arjun with Rohan. Seeing Rohan there broke me all over again. I watched from afar as Rohan suddenly turned around, as if he sensed I was near. I quickly hid, and then I heard him shout, "She’s gone! BOOM💥"
He could still feel my presence, even when I was far away.
Our hearts were made for each other.
I saw Priya helping Rohan, and for the first time after leaving rohan, I felt a bit of relief. At least Rohan had Priya, who loved him so much.
Watching Rohan leave, I knew it was the last time I would ever see him.
I prayed silently, "God, Give all the happiness to them, let them live together peacefully and just let me see Rohan one last time before I die."
It's been 8 years since I left India🍃
I had been living in Canada for eight long years. Arjun had started his own startup, and all he did was work tirelessly, which I admired but couldn’t fully match. I helped him with his work, and our lives were moving along smoothly.
I had learned to live without Rohan. Arjun was always there for me, supporting me through everything. A total workaholic, he had recently won an award for one of his applications, which became a huge success in Canada.
Arjun, despite all his achievements, had never married. I asked him several times to find someone who would be good for him, but he always dodged the conversation. Deep down, I knew he had feelings for me, but I couldn’t return them. My heart had turned to ice—it didn’t beat for anyone anymore, and it makes me even happier that Arjun never confessed his love. I feel most comfortable with him. I feel safe with him. Since we were teens, Arjun has always been my support. Whenever I looked back, thinking who would possibly stand by me... I always found Arjun.
One day, while working, I coughed and saw blood. I had been ignoring the symptoms for a long time, but Arjun saw it that day and insisted I see a doctor.
My worst fear came true—I had cancer. At such a young age, I was diagnosed with cancer. The doctor said I had only a few more years or more to and live that only if I start taking treatments, but without it, I might have just a few months. Arjun was devastated, but strangely, I didn’t feel anything. I had been living my life for years with no hope, no love, and no dreams.
Maybe it was time to finally say goodbye to everything.
Ultimately, with or without treatment, I’m going to die. With treatment, I might live a few more years, but what’s the point? Just extending this same life for a few more years? It’s better to end this chapter now. So, I decided to refuse treatment.
