Hyunsuk crossed his arms. He looked at his own progress while working on the new design commission that he got last week. Looking at the time now, it has been 2 hours since he started. But he barely did anything. He remembers doing the same at Jihoon's place with the same amount of time while waiting for Jihoon to finish his online meeting last week for a different design commission. Hyunsuk remembers that the progress of his work is way better than when he's doing the same now at his own place.

Hyunsuk sighed. It seems like it will take a lot more time to finish this. What makes him do better at Jihoon's place? Hyunsuk stood up and walked toward the laundry room. He took out the fabric softener that he just bought a few days ago after he finished the last one. He purposely grabbed the same brand and the same scent that Jihoon used.

Hyunsuk opened the container and sniffed it.

"It doesn't smell the same," Hyunsuk told himself. True. It has a similar scent but it's not exactly the same as the one that he smelled at Jihoon's place. Did Jihoon lie to him? Did Jihoon actually use a different one? Or is it not the fabric softener?

But Hyunsuk has tried to use every single scented stuff that Jihoon used at his place. Trying to get the scent that he's smelling at Jihoon's place which Hyunsuk believes is the reason that he can focus even better there than at his place. But it seems like he couldn't really find it.

Hyunsuk looked around. Is it because his place is a lot more spacious than Jihoon's? That's why the scent is not the same?

"Should I get another house?" Hyunsuk asked himself.

Suddenly, his phone rang. It's his neighbour's son who he already considers as his little brother, Kim Doyoung calling. Hyunsuk answered the call.

"Yes, Doyoung-ah?" Hyunsuk asked.

"Are you free right now?" Doyoung asked. Hyunsuk looked at the tablet with his design commission work on its screen. Well. He didn't seem to get any progress done anyway.

"Yeah. Hyung is free," Hyunsuk said.

"Accompany me for a drink. I had a fight with my parents," Doyoung said.

"Send me the location. I'll be there right away," Hyunsuk said.

"Okay," Doyoung said before ending the call. Hyunsuk opened the new message that he just received from Doyoung. It's a location of a pub that they often go to when they're meeting. Hyunsuk saved the last edit of his work and turned his tablet off.

Hyunsuk grabbed his coat and walked out.

"What is it now?" Hyunsuk asked as soon as he sat in front of Doyoung, who had already started drinking. The waiter put an empty glass in front of Hyunsuk. The employees there are quite familiar with the two of them as they often come to drink.

"You know, hyung. They told me to take over the company," Doyoung said.

"Isn't it good news? It's not even something to be a reason for you to fight with your parents to begin with," Hyunsuk said. "At least, you get a stable and promising job as soon as you graduate?"

"That's the problem. If this is how it is, everyone will know who I am. And I will be seen as the son of the owner of the company instead of being seen as me, Kim Doyoung," Doyoung said. "Expectation, privileges, I don't want that all. I want to live my life my own way,"

"This is the problem with rich family's kids," Hyunsuk said before taking a shot of the alcohol.

"As if you're not a rich family's kid as well. Our family's houses are right next to each other, separated by a garden and a big wall," Doyoung said. "But your family doesn't force you to do anything. I envy you,"
