"Pair up for the next assignment. If it's so hard, I'll be the one who decides who you'll be paired up with. You have 3 minutes," Professor Jang said. The class suddenly turns into a bustling space as the students are trying to find someone to pair with for the next assignment.

Jihoon was about to ask Junkyu but apparently, he has chosen someone else to pair with.

"Why are you pairing with someone else? I was right here," Jihoon asked.

"I think about it long and deep and I decided not to pair with you for this assignment," Junkyu said.

"How the hell do you manage to think of it long and deep when it has been less than 5 minutes since the professor told us to pair up?" Jihoon asked.

"It just did," Junkyu said. "And if I'm pairing with you, it makes me stand out more and will get a lot of attention and will gain too much expectation from the professor. And I don't want that. So, good luck finding someone else who's willing to be your pair,"

"Seriously, Kim Junkyu?"

"You know how Professor Jang will critique our work harshly and ask the other students to review the work as harshly as we could?" Junkyu asked.

"Professor Jang never did that,"

"That's because your work is on Professor Jang's liking and you also give a harsh critique as well," Junkyu said. "You see. That much can show how you and the rest of us are in different level,"

"You're talking nonsense," Jihoon said.

"Have you guys done pairing up?" Professor Jang asked.

"Yes!" the students in the lecture hall answered in unison. Jihoon looked around to see if there's any unpaired students left. But, no. Everyone has their partners already. As far as he can remember, there's an even number of students in this class.

Jihoon just remembers that he didn't see Hyunsuk around. Professor Jang saw that Jihoon is currently looking around.

"Who else didn't have any partners?" Professor Jang asked. Jihoon looked to the front and raised his hand. He looked around. No one else is raising their hand. "No one else?"

No answer from the other student. Suddenly, someone opens the door of the lecture hall. All eyes are on the door, waiting for who will come in. It's Hyunsuk.

Hyunsuk looked at how everyone was looking at him. He looked at Jihoon who's currently raising his hand before he looked at Professor Jang. He walked toward Professor Jang and handed the lecture a time off slip because he's currently finishing his graduation project.

"You're going to take time off from classes?" Professor Jang asked.

"I'll try to come to class as much as I can," Hyunsuk said. Professor Jang looked at Jihoon who's still raising his hand.

"You'll be pairing with Jihoon for the next assignment," Professor Jang said.

"What?" Jihoon asked.

"Do you see anyone else having no partner here, student Park Jihoon?" Professor Jang asked.

"No," Jihoon said timidly.

"You can take a seat," Professor Jang said to Hyunsuk. "And you two have a good sense of art. It will be a good combination for sure,"

Hyunsuk walked toward the seat and Junkyu made the sign for Hyunsuk to sit right next to Jihoon who's sitting beside him. Hyunsuk walked toward Jihoon and sat beside him.

"I'm looking forward to working with you," Hyunsuk whispered.

"Sure. Me too," Jihoon said.

Professor Jang started to teach something related to the assignment that will be assigned to the students. After the class ended, Hyunsuk asked Jihoon.
