The day had finally arrived. Jin paced nervously outside the health chamber, his heart racing as he waited for news. Jimin had been in labor for hours, and every moment felt like an eternity for Jin. He couldn't help but remember when he was pregnant with Jaemin, how the fear, anticipation, and love had all swirled together in a storm of emotions but happen to not experience all this. Now, as Jimin went through the experience, Jin couldn't help but feel a deep, protective connection to them both.
Suddenly, the piercing cry of a newborn broke through the silence. Jin's breath caught in his throat, his body freezing in place for a moment before rushing forward. The doors to the chamber opened, and a nurse stepped out, holding a tiny baby wrapped in a soft blanket.
"Congratulations," the nurse said softly, her eyes warm as she carefully handed the baby to Jin. The moment the child was in his arms, Jin felt a wave of emotions so strong, it nearly knocked him off his feet. He stared down at the little girl, her features delicate, her eyes tightly shut as she continued to cry. She was beautiful, perfect in every way, and Jin felt tears prick at the corners of his eyes.
"She's... she's beautiful," Jin whispered, his voice trembling as he cradled the tiny girl in his arms. His heart swelled with love, a feeling so intense it almost overwhelmed him. He gently rocked the baby, her cries quieting as she nestled into his warmth.
After a few moments, Jin enter chamber,Jimin inside the chamber, looking exhausted but glowing with happiness. His eyes immediately found Jin and the baby in his arms, and a tired but loving smile spread across his face.
Jimin chuckled softly, his eyes sparkling despite the fatigue. "Hyung, I carried her for nine months, and yet she looks exactly like Yoongi," Jimin said, his voice filled with playful frustration. "She's his exact copy."
Jin couldn't help but laugh at that. He looked down at the baby and back at Jimin, his heart filled with warmth. "She does look like him," Jin agreed, "but she's just as cute as you."
Jimin smiled softly, his eyes full of love as he gently took the baby from Jin's arms. He looked down at her, his heart swelling with pride and affection. "I can't believe she's finally here," Jimin whispered, holding his daughter close.
After some days spent resting, Jimin and Jin finally returned home with the baby. They decided to name her Minji, a name that resonated with both of them. As they entered their home, Jin felt a strange sense of nostalgia wash over him. It reminded him of when Jaemin was born and how he had to leave him behind in the palace. The memory tugged at his heart, but holding Minji in his arms made the sadness a little easier to bear.
Minji quickly became the light of their lives. As the days passed, Jin and Jimin noticed that the baby seemed to have a special connection with Jin. She often slept soundly in his arms, rarely crying when he held her. Jimin would joke that Minji had chosen Jin as her favorite, even though Jimin was the one who had given birth to her.
One evening, Jimin watched from the doorway as Jin cradled Minji in his arms, gently rocking her to sleep. The baby looked so peaceful, her tiny fists curled up against Jin's chest. Jimin couldn't help but smile at the sight. "She really loves you, hyung," Jimin said softly, walking over to sit beside Jin. "She always calms down the moment you hold her."
Jin smiled, looking down at Minji with a tender expression. "She's just a peaceful baby," he replied, though his heart warmed at Jimin's words. He couldn't deny that Minji had become like a second child to him, and the bond they shared was undeniable.
As the days turned into weeks, Minji grew quickly, hitting each of her milestones under the watchful eyes of both her parents. One of the most memorable moments was when Minji spoke her first word. Jin and Jimin were sitting in the living room, playing with her, when suddenly, Minji looked up at Jin and said, "Ma."
