Days passed, and Jungkook's retreat into isolation became more noticeable. His once vibrant presence around the palace was replaced with long periods of silence. He hardly spoke to anyone except Jin, and even then, his words were few. Concerned, the elders of the family began to wonder how long Jungkook could continue like this. His immense power, still unstable, needed control-not just for the kingdom's safety but for his own.
Grandpa noticed this more than anyone. He had seen powerful souls fall into despair when they couldn't master their own abilities, and he refused to let that happen to Jungkook. One afternoon, he gathered Jin and Yoongi in the council room. The tension in the air was palpable, but Grandpa's voice was firm.
"Jin, Yoongi," he began, looking between the two, "we can't let Jungkook isolate himself anymore. His power is too dangerous to be left unchecked, and he needs guidance. Jin, you're the only one who can reach him right now. He trusts you, and you've been the one constant anchor in his life. Yoongi, you've mastered control over your own soul in ways that few can, and that makes you the perfect teacher."
Yoongi nodded, his expression serious. "I understand. I've noticed the changes in him-he's scared of what he can do, but that's why he needs training. I'll do whatever I can to help him."
Jin, on the other hand, looked concerned. "But will he listen? He's shut himself off from almost everyone. Even with me, it's hard sometimes to get him to open up."
Grandpa's eyes softened as he placed a reassuring hand on Jin's shoulder. "You'll find a way, Jin. You always do."
The Next Day: Training Begins
The following morning, Jin and Yoongi went to find Jungkook. He was sitting in the palace garden, staring at the blooming flowers but seeming a world away. Jin approached cautiously, his heart heavy with worry. He sat down beside Jungkook without saying a word, waiting for the younger man to speak first.
After a few moments of silence, Jungkook finally sighed. "I know why you're here," he muttered, his voice barely audible.
Jin exchanged a glance with Yoongi before speaking. "Jungkook, we want to help you. You can't keep hiding from your power. It's a part of you, and the more you avoid it, the harder it will be to control."
"I don't want to hurt anyone again," Jungkook whispered, his voice trembling. "What if I lose control like that again? What if I hurt you, Jin? Or Taehyung? Or... everyone?"
Yoongi knelt in front of Jungkook, his expression resolute. "That's why we're going to train you," he said firmly. "You don't have to face this alone. We'll teach you how to control it. But you need to trust us, and you need to trust yourself."
Jungkook looked up at Yoongi, his eyes filled with doubt. "And what if I can't?"
"You will," Jin replied softly, reaching for Jungkook's hand. "You're stronger than you think, Jungkook. And we'll be with you every step of the way."
Training Days: Learning Control
Over the next few days, Jungkook's training began in earnest. Every morning, Jin, Yoongi, and Namjoon would gather in the palace's training grounds, away from the prying eyes of others, to help Jungkook harness his power.
Yoongi started with the basics, teaching Jungkook meditation techniques to calm his mind and soul. "Before you can control your power, you need to control your emotions," Yoongi explained one morning as they sat in a circle, eyes closed in deep concentration.
Namjoon, who had initially kept his distance from the training, soon found himself drawn in. Though he still feared his own power, he couldn't help but feel responsible for Jungkook. "When you feel the power building inside you," Namjoon said during one of their sessions, "don't fight it. Let it flow through you, but guide it-like water running through a stream."
