The palace was radiant that morning, buzzing with activity as wedding decorations transformed every corridor and hall. Lush arrangements of white lilies, delicate pink peonies, and fragrant orchids adorned each corner, while soft, twinkling lights illuminated the vast space, casting a warm glow on the marble floors. Excited murmurs echoed through the halls as guests from all over the kingdom arrived, dressed in rich hues of silks and velvets, eager to witness the marriage of the two young princes.
In the groom's room, Jungkook paced back and forth, his hands damp as he tried to keep his nerves under control. He barely heard Namjoon, who entered with a calm yet mischievous smile, soon followed by Yoongi with Minji in his arms and Hoseok, who was already grinning.
"Hey, don't worry if your knees start shaking," Hoseok teased, ruffling Jungkook's hair. "Just make sure you don't fall on your face when Taehyung walks down the aisle!"
"Look at you," Namjoon teased as he observed Jungkook's anxious pacing. "I don't think I've seen you this tense since... well, ever."
Jungkook chuckled nervously, his voice shaky. "I just... what if something goes wrong? What if I trip? Or... what if I say the wrong words?"
Yoongi chuckled, bouncing Minji gently. "It's okay to feel nervous," he assured Jungkook. "I felt the same way when I married Jimin. The nerves? They're part of it, and they just remind you how much this means."
Namjoon stepped closer, pulling Jungkook into a brief but steady hug. "When you see Taehyung, just focus on him," he advised gently. "One look into his eyes, and the nerves will disappear. You've got this, little brother."
Jungkook took a deep breath and nodded, his smile timid but grateful. "Thank you. All of you," he whispered, his voice barely steady. He felt a bit better, especially knowing he had his brothers' support.
Meanwhile, in the bride's room, Taehyung was getting ready with a fluttery heart and hopeful gaze. Jin's mother entered quietly, her eyes misty with pride as she watched Taehyung adjust the last pieces of his attire. She clasped his hands, her voice catching. "Seeing you here... finally getting married... I never imagined it would come so fast."
Taehyung hugged her tightly. "You raised me to be the person I am, and I'm forever grateful for that."
Jimin and Jin joined, fussing over the final touches of Taehyung's look, each of them laughing and offering words of encouragement, making Taehyung laugh in return.
As guests gathered, Y/N sat with Ami and Jaemin, her six-month pregnancy showing more prominently as she leaned back, comfortably settled among family. Jaemin was bouncing in excitement between his grandfathers, Jimin and Namjoon's fathers, who kept him entertained with tales from their own youth.
Soon, Jin and Jimin left Taehyung with a final hug, and Jin's father arrived to escort Taehyung to the aisle. At that moment, a small wave of nausea washed over Jin, but he brushed it off, determined to witness every part of the ceremony.
At the altar, Jungkook waited, and as Taehyung entered, he felt his breath catch, captivated by Taehyung's presence as he drew closer. Their eyes met, and as if by magic, all of Jungkook's nervousness melted away. In that moment, there was only Taehyung, only this love.
With the vows exchanged, a brilliant glow surrounded the two as they sealed their marriage, the power of their union resonating through the crowd, leaving everyone awe-struck. One by one, family and friends came forward to offer their blessings.
Yoongi and Jimin beamed, Hoseok patted them proudly, and Namjoon's heartfelt words of encouragement moved them both. The joyful energy continued as they laughed and teased one another, sharing words of wisdom, before everyone was invited to the grand dining hall for the wedding feast.
