Tonight, once more, I find myself adrift in this quaint, unassuming town,
Where friendships feel like shadows, elusive and ethereal.
In the pursuit of connection,
A miscommunication unraveled,
Leaving me to navigate a labyrinth of relativity and resources,
More vast than I had anticipated.Spontaneity flutters like a delicate bird,
And while the unpredictable does not irk me,
There lingers a sensation that the world around me remains indifferent,
Unaware of the quiet struggles that have shaped my journey,
The sacrifices woven into the fabric of my being. Why should they know?
Their existence is a gentle murmur,
A soundscape that often dulls my senses.
In the midst of conversation,
My thoughts drift like leaves on a breeze,
Yearning for a realm where solitude breathes freely,
Where the weight of expectation dissipates into the ether.I find myself unmoored,
Wrestling with the notion of companionship,
Yet always seeking an exit, a breath of fresh air.
Do I truly know them,
When they remain untouched by the essence of my solitude?
I am an enigma wrapped in reclusion,
An introvert learning to hold the quietude. What once felt like a burden now transforms,
A tapestry of stillness that allows me to breathe deeply,
In the spaces between connections,
I discover a serene acceptance,
Relishing the art of my own company,
No longer striving to fit within the confines of social expectation. In this obscure sanctuary of self,
I find a delicate beauty,
A tranquility that whispers:
Isolation is not a prison,
But rather a sanctuary where my spirit can flourish.
